He’s the Rock of our salvation and the pillar of our faith. He guards us from the evil one, Satan. To be protected by God, we must trust Him first. Through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God. As we follow Him into all truths of life and purpose of existence, we become invincible in our endeavors. Jesus took the keys of death and hell as He ascended up to the Father, and He rose in victory over every demonic influence and principalities and evil powers, (He gave them the holy beat down). We now have been given all authority over the evil one, but if you don’t know that for yourself, those evil entities will know that you’re not sure and won’t obey you when you command them to leave you alone. Knowing who you are in Christ Jesus is vital to your Christian walk and total victory over the evil one. Yes, the Lord is faithful, He will strengthen you, and will guard you, but it’s our job to learn His teachings and precepts to connect with the Master for a firm foundation.
