Worry and Anxiety, the Thieves of Tomorrow’s Joy
Worrying is one of the biggest problems in the development of our faith. God basically tells us, don’t worry about anything because He’s taking care of everything (Isaiah 41:10). That sounds too simple for most people to trust, and act upon. Especially when opposition comes against what you’re hoping for. Our faith needs to be built up so strong that worry and anxiety don’t stand a chance raising its head up against you (Matthew 17:20). Fear, worry, and anxiety all come from the same family, the devil’s family not God’s. Our faith can be built up so strongly to the point Satan cannot find a way of worrying us. This is why the Lord is telling us don’t worry. He expects us to have strong enough faith not to worry (1 Corinthians 16:13). Worrying is being concerned about something that may never happen. Trusting God that thing won’t happen you’re concerned about will invoke your faith in making sure it won’t happen. When we have no control over something, we use our faith and believe God for answers.
