The Giving Way

To be a giver is a part of the christian experience, or should be. God gave first before He could reap the harvest of His family. He planted the seed of His only begotten Son to save the world, and to exemplify the seedtime and harvest principle of there’s no instant quick fixes in life. Abraham planted the seed of His son Isaac so we all could reap the harvest of Jesus becoming the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Many of us love holding on to stuff, like a hoarder. There’s a spirit in that mentality and it shows through the lack of your self-control. As we give it shall be given again unto us (Luke 6:38). When we give to the poor we are lending to the Lord (Proverbs 19:17). There’s a synergy between us and the needs of others being fulfilled. By planting your seed of giving to the poor, God is in your dept for a return on your giving at the exact time you need it most. It’s always good to have seeds of kindness, finances, or being a peace maker in the ground, you never know when you’ll need that harvest in your life. When we give to the needy, it’s not a time to shout from the rooftops the act of you blessing someone. The only return you’ll get is in that moment, the person thanks you profusely, but that seed of your giving will be contaminated and not produce because of your pride bragging about what you gave to the poor. Protecting the seed of our giving is important. Our words can negate the progress of our harvest’ manifestation. Always speak faith that’s in agreement with God’s word. Give to the poor, and God will repay you.
