God does not faint or get weary, but we do

“‭Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.” God does not get tired. In the bible it says, He rested on the seventh day of creating mankind and the restructuring of earth, because it was with our form and empty before mankind arrived (Genesis 1:2). This doesn’t mean He was tired, He just stepped back from His works of creation to observe and appreciate His handy work, and He said, it was good. God does not faint or grow weary like us. We must recharge from time to time by sleeping and or eating. We must have time to recover from all the busyness of life. When we try to keep going day after day with very little sleep or eating properly, we get our body and mind into trouble. Our decision making becomes impaired, and our body feels like extra unnecessary weight to carry around. Our spiritual edification is also vitally important to stay fit on every level of our make-up. Our new recreated human spirit must meditate on the word of God to stay nourished, healthy and energized for strong faith battles. As we are connected to the Vine, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, we as branches draw our spiritual sustenance for healthy survival, strength, and much productivity in purpose and destiny (John 15:5-7). As long as we are getting proper sleep, exercise, and eating properly, our connection with God will do the rest. We are made in God’s image and likeness but unlike the Lord, we get worn out from life’s difficulties. God does not faint or grow weary, so stay connected to Him at all costs.
