Are Your Taste Buds Attuned Towards God?

Oh taste and see that the Lord is good. This verse requires our participation and trust. Some of us are closed minded to try anything new, or different. We miss out on so much with a closed mind like that. To taste is to experience, to experience is to give amble time for understanding to come. Many folks try God and then say, it doesn’t work, nothing happened for me. The bible says through faith and patience we inherited the promises of God (Hebrews 6:11). Because we live in this microwave paced society, we expect things to happen quickly and in a hurry. God’s manifested help does not generally happen instantly, only the necessary miracles preplanned by God which is according to His sovereign will (Psalm 71:16); so don’t count on the miracle way as the norm. Once we make a conscious decision to believe and trust God with all of our hearts, all of our minds, and all of our souls, then the commitment will be in place to produce the desired results; accentuate your taste buds. You will see how good God is as you spend the necessary time with Him. You’ll have small victories at first for practice, then God will totally deliver you from something that will seal the deal of you trusting Him. At this point you’ll know, He is good.
