“I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” God Himself will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. That means we must acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our path. The teachings and precepts of the Lord are vital for character building and clarity of thought. Our minds can take us on journeys we are not desirous of taking. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death. Since we can be destroyed from lack of knowledge (God’s words), we must learn about who we are in Christ Jesus. You will never walk in your inheritance until you know what it is for yourself. There’s a whole other world out there (literally), to be discovered and how it functions, (The Kingdom of God). Operating those laws and rules in this natural world we live in, will cause us to live above the evil in this world. Thinking outside the box here for a minute, this world (earth), was created by a spiritual entity (God) from another realm. Our hopes and dreams come from God, we can understand better how things work by allowing the Lord to teach and instruct us, read the bible, it’s all in there.

“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise Him again my savior and my God!” David crying out to the Lord here. This could be many of us from time to time. What do you do when these feelings come on you. The answer was given in David’s next sentence. I will put my hope in God, I will praise Him. Hope pushes discouragement and being sad away. Without hope there are no thoughts of courage or happiness. Hope in God changes everything. Sadness discouragement, and insecurity are not allowed in the heart and soul of the trusting, believing saint of God. Often being around people who are sad, discouraged or insecure can affect us immensely. We as humans can be influenced, especially in areas of weakness or being unknowledgeable about a thing. Sometimes when we sense instability in our lives, that can bring much concern which could lead to discouragement sadness or worse. The hope of glory, who is Jesus Christ, can neutralize all negative areas of life, and restore our souls to the default setting of peace and confidence. We can self-inflict trouble without God in our lives. Still human, but not hopeless.

“So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.” Do you have hope, is that hope alive and well, or are you feeling hopeless. Hope is a confident favorable expectation to whatever you’d like to see happen in your life. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Faith and hope are in the future. In other words, we are believing and hoping for a needed or desired thing that has not come to pass yet, but you are expecting it. Whether we need deliverance from something, or looking forward to a loved one to get it together, or for safety in general, our confidence plays an important part. Getting our confidence up to the receiving level of manifesting our hopes and dreams takes faith and patience. We must have something to give us reason to have hope. There is always comfort through the scriptures of the bible, God’s promises to us. Without God, there is no hope that can stand sure. We cannot trust a hope based on anybody’s word, but the word of God will hold until you have what you’re hoping for. There’s hope in the scriptures.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).” There is a form of bondage that goes along with the way this world system has been set up by the evil behind it. This world has been given over to be ruled by Satan because of the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden long ago. Adam and Eve sinned before God by obeying the devil when they ate the forbidden fruit. That sin caused the rulership of mankind to be turned over to Satan through disobedience to God, who told them not to eat that fruit. Once the fruit was eaten, the knowledge of good and bad entered the world. Men and women through this experience have learned how to be bad, and have taken on the sin nature. The motivation and influence comes from the devil who to this day has a hold on all unsaved, spiritually dead people. To get freed from this control of the world system and satan, a person would have to accept the completed work at Calvary done by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are all limited without this transformation from being spiritually dead to God, to becoming the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Take the way out!

“And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Through God’s grace we become self-sufficient, in need of no aid or support because the Lord has us totally covered for walking in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. He gives us grace and favor to fulfill our God given purpose. Grace takes the friction out of an uphill task of vital importance. Grace gives confidence to our thought processes to help deal with our everyday struggles. We become like well oiled machines doing the work of the kingdom of God, and for our often emotional battles, it can cool the flame of adversity in general. Yielding to the grace of God when it raises up in you makes all the difference. The grace of God comes by way of trusting God for everything. It takes time to trust like that, but it’s doable for the steadfast believer. His mercies are new every morning, but His grace is effective night and day.

The Lord Of All, And Child Of Promise

“……For a child is born to us……” that child was Jesus, the Son of the living God. Immanuel means, God is with us, and He’ll never leave us or forsake us. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. The everlasting Father, Prince of peace, bright morning star, Wheel in the middle of a wheel, The first and the last, the beginning and the end, Author of our faith, The righteousness of God, Messiah, savior of the world, King of Kings, and Lord of lords. He’s the wonderful counselor, Mighty God, Creator of the Universe, The lily of the valley, Prince of peace, God of comfort, Lord of all, the only begotten Son of God. The light of mankind, the way, the truth, and the life. Mediator between God and man, the Door. This world has always tried to diminish the works and purpose of God in a person, and from the gospel being spread throughout the land. Jesus is and always will be the highest supreme being to have lived the human experience on planet earth (as a man), and to overcome all our worse nightmares, and has won passage right through the evil one’s demonic plans against us, to make us right with God again. He deserves all the praise and worship due His name.

“She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].” The Greek form of the name Jesus, or more specifically Joshua, means Savior. He literally saved the world from having to go to hell to pay for their own sins. But when Jesus is received, (by faith), as Lord and Savior of our lives, He literally went to hell and dropped off our sins so we don’t have to. Otherwise you pay the price of sin by going to hell yourself after you die. It’s forever to pay the price of sinning on earth without getting forgiveness in advance. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one goes to heaven without Him, and the contract with Him must be signed before leaving planet earth. God won’t be the one to blame once you stand before Him and try to explain why you didn’t accept His Son before you died. Life after death can be wonderful or horrible, and the scary part is, it’s your choice. Take up stock in heaven for the next life, you’d want prime real estate opposed to the heated option down below.

” Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength.” Waiting on God is trusting Him. Many times we get ahead of the Lord while He’s saying wait for me. There are different seasons for different life events to occur. We are taught to wait because patience and faith bring answered prayer. Waiting on and trusting in God for strength happens through perseverance in being steadfast in your belief. We are laborers together with God, and we need Him, but He needs us as well. Anything the Lord wants to do on earth can only be carried out by a man or woman. We have the dominion in the earth and God can only work through obedient saints faithful to His will. It’s God’s law and rule. He runs the universe and we oversee the running of the earth. We have not been doing such a great job at it because of the evil down here. To trust in someone invisible isn’t the easiest thing but possible through faith. Once you’ve made a decision to trust no matter what the circumstances or what’s been said about God in the past, it comes down to what you think and act on concerning the Lord. Those who trust, will be renewed.

“The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” Jesus is the word that became flesh and dwelled among us physically. The word flesh used in the bible generally refers to our bodies and sometimes its unruly appetites. Jesus came down from heaven in physical form to do the work God sent Him here to do. He is the living word of God. He became known in the bible as the way, the truth, and the life, no one gets to the Father but by Him. It was necessary for Jesus to become flesh, a natural human being to experience the evil mankind has been dealing with since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden. He became the mediator between God and man. He’s our go between, our attorney representing us when we mess up with God. Justice must be satisfied, so a plan was put in place (the gospel) for the redemption of all mankind. The virgin Mary, Jesus’mother, was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit impregnating Mary with our Savior. The living sacrifice was born, and grew in grace and knowledge unto the only one having never sinned. So here’s a sinless man ripe in the eyes of Almighty God for the perfect offering to satisfy justice. And Father God had to go through turning His back on His only begotten Son for us His enemies at the time, to set things straight between God and mankind. We have seen His glory. Now you know the story of the gospel. Others need to know.

“By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].” The worst display Christians could exemplify in their walk with God is to lose it in front of non christians. People of this world are always looking for hope out of their own mess. We are the hope of the world as we follow Christ and His way of life. It is vitally important for the Lord’s disciples to show the love of God at all times if possible. We’re not perfect and won’t be until the return of Christ, but for now, our thoughts should at least line up to the idea of trying to live at peace with everyone. As we love one another the love of God will mature in us. It’s an invoking of the will of man (based on the word of God) to ensure this coming to light. Maturing in Christ is maturing in love because God is love and we are His children. Walking in the light of our inheritance in God, and His attributes helps show the reality of God’s existence without ocular proof. Others will think we are weird, slightly off the rocker seeing the consistency of God’s love operating in someone. The motive of love will always override the plan of evil against you.
