    The Door

“So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep. All others who came [as such] before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them. I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.” One perspective to revelation knowledge of this verse is, Jesus came into this world legally, (He was born of a woman, Mary) for the sheep, God’s followers. Satan came illegally through the deception of Adam and Eve. He is a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy God’s family of believers, His children. The only way the devil, Satan, can get back at God is to come against God’s children, the sheep. Lucifer was Satan’s name before being kicked out of heaven, he was God’s special angel for praise and worship in heaven. That’s why the devil has such a strong grip on the music industry today. The door Jesus is referring to is the entrance into this world. All people have come legally being born here. Satan and all demons or evil spirits have come illegally. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man or woman can come to God except through Him, the door.

    The Way In

“Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.” No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ is what’s being said here. The only way to get to the heaven talked about in the bible is by way of the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. Christianity is a living faith. There was a sacrifice for sin given by the Father God to humanity, and Jesus who lived a sinless life while on earth, was the perfect offering for justice to be satisfied. He is the truth because no guile was found in Him, and being the only begotten Son of God who cannot lie, passed that gene on to His Son Jesus. We were born into sin and could not free ourselves from its bondage. He is the life because of the three part God head (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) it was the Son, Jesus who God allowed to implement creation. He also brought life, through His sacrifice on the cross to our death doomed human spirits and recreated it unto new life free from sin’s hold on us of habitual wrong doings. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law, (old testament rules). Good works alone won’t get us into heaven, but a relationship with the Son of God Jesus Christ is the only way.

    Get Connected, And Stay Connected

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. As followers of the Lord we must have the spiritual nutrition we need. In all we do it is important to involve the Lord in it. We are laborers together with God and without Him we can do nothing of value that will last and benefit others. Our fellowship with God is our connection to the vine. Jesus experienced the earth walk with all the struggles, temptations and demonic resistance. He understands first hand and has become the mediator between God and mankind. The christian walk is all the time. Once a week Sunday mornings at church won’t make for a strong believer of Christ. It’s the everyday connection to the vine, Jesus. Praying, worshiping with a daily commitment to quality time with Him is being connected to the vine, enabling us to be fortified with God’s strength, His grace and favor in our lives, and the anointing which makes things easier to do. We don’t know what we’re missing if we’ve never had it. Get connected.

Follow The Light, The Darkness Wants You

“Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.” The light represents all things good. The dark represents all things bad. The darkness always retrains from, is unable to deal with, or comprehend the light. The darkness is headed up by the devil, and his crew. In the darkness there are agitating spirits, inducers of moral conflicts, and demon activity beyond our imagination. We can’t see them unless God gives us the spirit of discernment which would enable you to see into the spirit realm where Satan, and demons are visible. Jesus Himself is the light and all good things come from Him. In the light there is clarity, love based attitudes and peace. The only way to walk this life in victory is in the light. Jesus prayed to God that we would live above the evil in this world. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life that lights every person’s pathway. Follow the Lord and you will have the light of life. With the light of life comes understanding. Follow the King and the truth will cut through all the confusion, distractions of life, and unnecessary trouble. The darkness doesn’t stand a chance next to the light. Follow the light!

    The Bread of life

“Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).” The bread of life is the word of God that feeds our newly recreated human spirits. As the human body needs physical food, the human spirit needs spiritual food to sustain it. Jesus is the word of God who was made flesh (put in human form) and lived among us. The word of God is also referred to as the written word of God in the bible. His words are spirit and they are life. Digesting the word of God daily helps keep our connection to God secure. The word is alive, and sharper than any two edge sword. Our knowledge of God’s word can discern between spirit, soul, and body. It dissects any and everything foreign to God’s way of life. There are many people who are lost when it comes to trying to satisfy that hunger for the supernatural. That hunger is really reaching out for God. He created you, and the zoe life of God in you is yearning for its creator. Many get side tracked or deceived into going after the dark side of the supernatural to satisfy their spiritual hunger. Jesus is the bread of life, and only that bread can satisfy all the appetites of your spirit, and soul, and it has the ability to help you keep your body under control. Eat the bread prescribed for you, the Bread of life.

    The Good Shepherd

“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep.” Jesus is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for us, the sheep. When someone is hired to care for the sheep, they won’t give up their life to protect them. For some of us, if our heart is in a task, we will go the extra mile, but to lay down your own life for another isn’t the norm. But the Good Shepherd has done this for the entire world’s redemption. We now have a clear path to God the Father unhindered by the sin nature that blocked us from God’s help before. The Lord is our Shepherd and we shall not want, or lack anything concerning our needs. Our needs are protection, provisions, guidance, and whatever else this world’s system demands for living a victorious life. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The life we live, we live by faith in the Son of God. Our connection to the vine (Jesus) is where we get all our spiritual nourishment and physical, and mental strength. It helps build a spiritual forcefield around us because of His presence in our life. The principalities and powers of the air, Satan’s crew knows whether your connection to the Lord is stable or barely holding on. Allow the Good Shepherd to rule your life, and you’ll have less to worry about in general.

    Thank God He Got Up

“And he said to them, Do not be amazed and terrified; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” If Jesus hadn’t risen from the dead, our christian faith would be powerless like other false religions. What sets us apart from other religions or faiths is we serve a living God, not made by human hands. The power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. The Holy Spirit of God comes to dwell in God’s children once we are born again, saved. The angels told Mary Jesus is no longer in the tomb but has risen from death. No other religion declares this major detail in the mix. We serve a right now God. He’s available 24/7 to help us with all life concerns and problems. Why serve a god that doesn’t talk back to you, what’s the point. We need help here and now on planet earth. We serve a risen Savior who brought us back to God from a broken, fallen state otherwise unrepairable, or redeemable. The other gods or idols people serve have no power behind their faith or religion. Thank God Jesus has risen!

    The Walking Dead

“Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. (NIV) The realm of the dead is a very real place. The realm of the dead is anything or anyplace that doesn’t acknowledge God’s ways, or His Kingdom principles for living life with respect to the Lord. There is much decay in the realm of the dead. The realm of the dead thrives in the heart of an unsaved person. A person who is still hellbound (not a christian), will spend eternity in the darkest area of the realm of death. The living dead is more real than we realized. Dead man walking is any person who has not yet experienced the new birth, a new heart change only available through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. We are born into sin. Shaped and moulded into it with all its fleshly, inordinate appetites and unruliness. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way out of the realm of the dead. Our text today is speaking of spiritual things that affect you now and especially after your body dies. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved. Asking Him into your heart and to be your Lord, in other words, letting Him have some say so in your everyday decisions and actions. Your heart can be glad, your tongue can rejoice, and your body can rest secure knowing you’ve left the realm of the dead.

    Don’t Try It, Live It!

“But He was pierced for our transgressions and He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” (NIV) They pierced Him for our wrong doings, (with a sword in His side, blood and water came out) and they crushed Him for our weaknesses, the punishment it took for us to have peace was on Him, and 39 times He was whipped, it covered every sickness and disease the world would ever experience. It has been said, each of the 39 stripes He endured on the cross represented a sickness or a disease, (in that culture back then only 39 stripes were allowed). This is the reality of what the Lord went through for us. He wasn’t under the fallen state of man since God was His Father, so He was the perfect sacrifice to remit all the stuff that goes along with the fallen state of mankind. We’ve not only been redeemed from the curse of the law, but restored as well to the original state of mankind (before sin entered the picture) by faith in God’s word. To actually live this renewed state of existence, we must deal with the effects of sin already in this world and people that don’t have a clue about this subject. By drawing near to God, He’ll draw near to you, and will turn your life around for the better. Don’t try it, live it!

He Paid The Price, Receive The Gift

“Then He took a loaf [of bread], and when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and gave it to them saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. And in like manner, He took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament or covenant [ratified] in My blood, which is shed (poured out) for you.” We take the elements in church that represent our Lord’s death burial and resurrection. His body was broken and His blood poured out for our sake. The blood of Jesus is the power behind washing away all the sin of the world. It will never lose its power. The blood of Jesus makes us whole, spirit soul and body, it seals the new covenant we have with God. His body was beaten whipped, and pretty much unrecognizable after His crucifixion. Each slash of His body being whipped represents a sickness or disease which He took for our health. It is now possible to ask God to heal us from sickness and disease, because what Jesus went through now puts us in legal rights status with God to receive divine intervention to help us. He took our sickness and weaknesses so we don’t have to. You say, well I’m a christian and I’m not well. Everything in our life, every season has a purpose. Your healing is inevitable, through the process of getting healed God’s desire is your total reliance on Him no matter how bad your situation is. He paid the price, so receive the gift now.
