The End is Near, Are You Ready?
We are to be on guard, and alert constantly for the return of Christ. Neither the Angels or even Jesus Himself know the exact time or day of the return of Christ, when He comes to get His church from the earth. As Jesus is the head, and we are the body of Christ, and because we have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16) we could possibly tap into when He will return if He knew. The bible says no one knows the hour of His return. If Father God told Jesus, we being the body of Christ would have insight to it (Mark 13:32). The Idea is to live ready, always seeking the Lord’s approval in all we do. There’s a parable of the ten virgins in the Bible who were asked to come to the great marriage feast (to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, is today’s invite). Five of the women did not prepare by having enough oil in their lamps. So as the five went out to get oil for their lamps so they’d be ready for the great wedding day, the bridegroom returned. Only the other five who were ready went in with the bridegroom. The door was shut to the others who were not ready. This parable is indicative of the return of Christ. Are you ready or are you trying to get ready for when the bridegroom returns. We should be ready at all times, be on guard and be alert, because all the signs of His return are on the table like never before. Look around you, things on planet earth are at their worst like never before in the history of mankind. Don’t be like the five foolishness women who were not ready.

Don’t Judge Me, It’s not Your Job
Nowadays it’s best not to judge another person at all. We hear the words all the time, “Don’t judge me “. When we do judge others our opinion of them or preconceived first impression of them kicks in. Human nature tends to put us in a box of preconceived judgemental thoughts at first sight of another person. We base our judgement on another person’s appearance or their demeanor. If that person looks like, and acts like someone who has hurt us in the past, we put them in the negative box of first sight judging. It is ultimately the Lord’s job to judge people. He is the Righteous Judge who judges from a completely different place of understanding and truth. When we judge another person harshly, we will be judged the same way. As we judge the fruit of another’s actions or behavior, that’s totally alright because we must be on guard to not let the enemy walk all over us. The measure of judgement you use, will be measured back to you according to how you judged someone else. Being careful with judging people is a conscious decision we must make. It will make life easier for us, and keep us from inflicting ourselves with unnecessary judgement against us later.

Your Problem is You Don’t Pray! You Don’t Pray Because You don’t Believe
Initially when a crisis hits, we may have a little freaked out moment, but instead of yielding to that moment of despair and hopelessness, Jesus says; we should always pray and not give up. We are christians, always in a battle against evil. We fight the good fight of faith regularly as our modus operandi, our method of procedure through all the troubles we have in life. Living a life of prayer is the goal. Praying without ceasing is our duty as believers (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We don’t faint, lose heart and give up when we know the Lord has our back. Our confidence in Him is a sure shot for trust. We can utterly allow the entire leaning of our personality on Him. Imitating Jesus’ earth walk and understanding how He dealt with the distractions that would try keeping Him from getting alone with God to pray. The struggle is real here on earth trying to follow the Lord’s way. But as we move with God on His time schedule, and not ours, we will always be right where we’re supposed to be to receive help from Him. Our prayer life should be a habit of discipline which makes for a lifestyle conducive to faith. We can’t always know what’s coming against us or when it’s coming, but we can always count on God to deliver as long as we believe He will.

Speaking in Tongues Explained
Speaking in tongues has been a mystery for many christians today. It was more acceptable back in biblical days after the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Speaking in tongues is praying the perfect will of God back to Him. This means we are sending up prayers in a language that only God and His angels understand, it’s our heavenly language. Sounds like gibberish or silly sounding syllables, but it is the language of our heavenly Father (foolishness to confound the wise). In the book of Jude it talks about building ourselves up on our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (Jude 1:20). It energizes us spiritually to stand strong in our belief in God’s word. It makes sense that the devil would work hard to keep this information from us. Satan knows the power that is weiled by any believing christian, which will destroy his evil plots. We hear things like, “Oh that past away with the Apostles”. The only thing that passed away were the Apostles. Satan has deceived many saints by portraying speaking in tongues as spooky of something evil, because of our lack of knowledge about it. The enemy will keep us so busy we won’t have the energy to find out for ourselves and so we’ll trust someone else’s assessment of it. The Spirit helps us in weakness, pray in tongues and be strong. When you’re in a crisis and can’t verbalize a prayer, pray God’s perfect will back to Him, Pray in the Spirit.

Can You Hear the Voice of God?
How many of us know when the Lord is speaking to us. Back in the day, the Lord was calling on Samuel, and Samuel replied, “Speak, for your servant is listening”. At one point he knew the Lord was calling him. At first he thought it was Eli calling him, but it was God. Back in those times the Holy Spirit came upon men and women and the way God dealt with His servants was, He spoke audibly, and not from within their hearts. Before Jesus came and died for us, to give us a new heart that could hear that still small voice of God, the Lord spoke audibly to mankind. What matters most is not that we can hear the voice of God, although that’s up there with breathing, but doing what He tells us to do. Obedience is better than sacrifice, in this regard, it is better to obey the Lord’s voice now, than to suffer the consequences of disobedience later. He’s always talking to us, but we’re not always listening. As we begin to obey that still small voice of God, we begin to live above our circumstances, the evil in this world, and then every conquest from the Lord will be victorious, because He is low key running it. We have the advantage over this fallen world system that only a few have tapped into. Getting inside help from the creator of life, comes to everyone willing to cultivate that still small voice of God. Once you know you know, it will cause you to be unstoppable, and more than a conqueror.

Don’t Let Brother Worry and Sister Anxious Rule You, Fight! Win!
To not fret or have any anxiety about anything sounds like something outside of this world. To not fret and to have zero anxiety about anything is possible in two ways. The first way to not fret and not have anxiety about anything is to be dead. The living way is only possible with God. First we must learn to walk in a deeper dimension of love. Perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18), this is the way to fight an unseen enemy in what is ultimately a spiritual battle. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a clear thinking mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The spirit of fear is an intity with well known relatives (spiritually speaking), and they are brother worry, and sister anxious. The command from the Lord is ” Do not be anxious about anything”, it’s a command indicative of being able to obey it. Whatever is bothering us at any time we can let our requests be made known with thanksgiving to God, and then continue to make our request known to the Lord. He responds to burning heart desire, our hearts gotta be in it so that our God connection is secure. The peace that passes all understanding is on the menu for those who don’t mind doing the work of, working the word of God against fear and anxiety. Fight! win!

Why Aren’t My Prayers Being Answered?
With the confidence, and boldness we have in God, we can be sure that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. The Lord has put in place a system that helps us connect, and receive from God in a more sure way for desired results. Praying the Lord’s word back to Him is praying the perfect will of God in prayer. First of all, we must know His word which is His will. Renewing our minds with the word of God, which washes away our old thought patterns geared towards failure, we can have confidence through knowledge. God has said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Assurance comes, the privilege of boldness comes, and the reality of the Lord hearing our prayers more so, as we pray His word back to Him. Rightly dividing the word of truth makes all the difference. Finding scripture verses in the Bible to match your issues, crisis, and all storms of life. Asking God for what we want or need according to His own plan for us is a sure shot for answered prayer. Assuming our lifestyle is more conducive to Kingdom rules, and not weighed down with a load of sinful habits from your past ways, you will do well. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and He is itching to send help. Becoming knowledgeable of His will is a given for victorious living.

The Lord’s Prayer Broken Down
The Lord’s prayer is well known by most people. The opening words are calling God our Father. Family has always been the Lord’s way as He deals with us. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the three in one triune existence of the Lord is built on a family structured idea. There must always be respect when talking to the Lord, we honor Him with our reverential fear. Even Jesus’ when praying from earth began with praising His Father in heaven first, then He made requests for help. God’s Kingdom has come to the earth as Jesus had requested. The Kingdom of God cannot be seen with the naked eye, but it becomes clearer and clearer to see by faith as we mature in Christ. As far as God’s will, being done on earth as it is in heaven, we still have much work to do concerning that, although many are on board doing God’s will. He gives us our daily provisions, and supplies our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). The Lord has forgiven us because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7). We have the ability to forgive others because of His sacrifice for sin, (habitual sin was broken, we need to stop yielding to the temptations). The thing that would block us from forgiving others has been destroyed although it’s still not always easy to do. God will never lead us into temptation but will always deliver us from evil. And His is the Kingdom, the power and the glory forever.

The Harvest Field of Souls is Waiting on Your Help from God
Jesus was telling His disciples that, there aren’t enough people sharing the gospel but there is a harvest field of souls ready to receive salvation from the Lord. He also said to pray for the laborers to go out and reap the harvest (lead people to the Lord). He may have to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest. The harvest is this world, full of souls that would receive Jesus as Lord and Savior now. If today’s disciples would go out and share the gospel, the Lord will do the rest to add the increase. The harvest is great, and there is always someone to minister to that only you were born to reach. We must be on top of our game now as these are the last of the last days before the return of Christ. We will all be judged by God on the last day. The goal is to have God say to us in the end, ” Well done, good and faithful servant”. Those are the only words I want to hear upon entering heaven. In the Bible it says we will receive our crowns for fulfilling our God given purpose on earth (2Timothy 4:8). The amount and quality of service to the Lord we accomplish here and now on planet earth, will determine the crowns of victory we receive upon entering our final resting place with the Lord.

The Patient Card is Needed, He’s Coming Soon, and You Ain’t Ready!
After being patient for a long while, then there’s perseverance and steadfastness, which must be our portion as God’s servants of truth. As a farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land, so must we wait to be a part of any mighty exploit of God, no matter how long it takes to become a reality. We must experience the full longitude and latitude of allowing Patience to have its full experience with us. Integrity and character need the full course of patience’ stability in us, especially during hard times. The Lord is coming soon and very soon. But before He does return for the church, there’s work to be done by us. The work to be done requires a lot of patience and long-suffering. To accomplish the assignment the Lord has given each one of us, we WILL go through some hell on earth. That’s where our faith and patience must hold steadily in the Lord. It’s gonna look bad at times, even very bad at times. The testing of our faith means everything to the Lord. Once we develop this Godly patience in us, it will put us in a different realm of existence, and opportunities between God and man. Let patience have its perfect work in you.
