The Body of Christ Needs a Software Update on Getting Along with Each Other
We are the body of Christ and Jesus is the Head as most of us know. In His body are many members as the bible says. Each one has a different calling, purpose and destiny. We cannot afford to have discord or division amongst us because together we are a mighty force for the Lord in the earth. To divide and conquer has always been the enemy’s motive against mankind, because if we the body of Christ, were on the same page in most of our endeavors for the Lord, the rapture would occur sooner. Getting christians to work together has always been a challenge for the body of Christ. In many cases we have our own idea of how things should go, but we should seek the Lord’s way concerning how things should go. In all our ways acknowledge God, and He will direct us to the path we should take. We may even be persecuted by the church for following God’s way of how we perform our individual tasks for God. There’s no way you can know what the Lord has told me to do for Him, it wasn’t a conference call. So when you get persecuted by the church for doing what God told you to do, and how He told you to do it don’t be surprised, it just means you’re on track. But know you are hearing from God and not someone else. We should be connected to the body of Christ to the point that if one member suffers, the whole body suffers with it. If one member is honored, we all should honor him and his achievements for the Lord. But backbiting and itchy ears for gossip and drama has taken the place of love for our fellow saints.

Mercy Speaks Loud and Clear, Because We’re not Perfect
The Lord delights in mercy and loving-kindness. He’s a God of justice, and justice must be satisfied, and it will be. So we don’t get things twisted, He is merciful and His loving-kindness goes on forever and can override certain written laws. His mercy forgives us from receiving just due punishment for our actions of bad behavior. But in any particular incident of His choosing, the Lord may weigh out the fact you can’t take another hit. He knows how much we can take, even when we think we can’t take anymore, then more pressure comes anyway, because you can handle it. We need to learn who we are in Christ Jesus and act on those truths about who we are in Him. God does get angry but He doesn’t stay angry forever. There is no God like Him who pardons sin, and forgives the transgressions of the remnant of His inheritance. We need only to connect with Jesus in all we do. We are laborers together with God, and should acknowledge Him in all our ways so He can direct our path (Proverbs 3:6).

He Sees Your Labor of Love, and Will Bless Accordingly
God is not unjust to forget or overlook our labor and the love we show for His name’s sake. We minister to the needs of His saints, the consecrated people of God. As we continue to do so, we show the Lord that we are about His business. We don’t get swayed by circumstances or temptations when it comes to taking care of our fathers business. He is aware of what we do when no one is watching, good or bad. But the idea is, it’s not in vain what we do for the Lord. Anything we do in life has repercussions of good returns and bad ones based on our motives. The Lord sees and knows everything all the time, and everywhere, He is omnipresent and omniscient. Not something we can understand with our minds. The Lord has given us the seed time and harvest principle, concerning what goes around comes around, and you’ll reap what you sow. Things take time to develop and to secure a foundation for strong roots to hold. Over time helping the saints can cause us to be grounded in our ministry. Our works performed for the Lord in ministering to His saints, should first of all be from a motive of love, not so much from a command we must do or else. Our love for God should spill over to love for His people. He sees our labor of love, and it won’t go unnoticed by Him.

What’s Talking God so Long to Answer My Prayer?
Many times we feel the Lord is taking too long to answer our prayer requests. Especially if you’re used to handling everything yourself, meaning you’re pretty much a control freak. In this scenario, the person with that worker attitude, always hands on and barely leaving room for the Lord’s help, is not a good thing. If we are not careful, we could be in the way of God’s help. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises, but we are prone to and have the constant propensity of moving too fast. So when we don’t see the Lord’s provisions from our prayers when we feel it should come, it’ll test our patients big time. It is through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). God’s ways are above our ways and are past finding out for now, but we have faith to bridge the gap. We have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16), and can exercise the mind of Christ in our everyday lives and affairs, if we want it bad enough. God’s patience equals more souls saved from hell. Answered prayer for what we need or desire from God is at His discretion for manifestation. He rules the universe and keeps the earth spinning in the way He first created it. His timing is based on prearranged seasons that we walk into at different times of our life. The stretching of our faith can only come by way of trouble or crisis. So don’t give up, your blessing has already been calculated at the right time when you’ll need it most, just wait for it until it comes. If we prepare to wait forever, it won’t take that long at all.

Help is Available Now! Will You Fight for It?
Our help comes from the maker of heaven and earth. The maker of heaven and earth wants to help us. Since He made heaven and earth, I think He could help us in ways no one else can. Our help comes from the Lord, and we receive that help by faith. Believing He is willing to help us, is most of the journey in receiving that help. The Creator of heaven and earth set up the original world order, and then at one point, (mankind’s fall in the garden) Satan’s influence of evil began dominating the world system changing things to conform to his demonic agenda. The devil’s demonic agenda is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). The Lord’s agenda is that we may have life, and have that Zoe life more abundantly. Zoe life is the life of God flowing through the spirit, soul, and minds of His children who have decided to carry their cross of salvation. God’s help is conditional, laying on a bed of intelligence from working His word of promise in our daily lives. If we work the word of God, it will work for us. How we work the word should be motivated from a position of love. Since faith works by love, our love for God, and mankind must be an open love unrestricted by embarrassment, intimidation, and especially evil intent. Once we ask the Lord for help, and by staying in an attitude of receiving, with much patience, the help from God will be established and receive a manifestation date in heaven. Staying steady until manifestation happens is vital to our receiving help from the Lord. He wants to help you, will you let Him?

Is Your Light Bright Enough to Attract?
As Christians, we are the light of the world. We carry in these earthen vessels the glory and light of God. We are the hope in the world for hopeless people and situations. When we let our light shine through our lifestyle with the Lord, people see that, and if our light is shining bright enough they will be attracted. We live in a very dark world full of confusion, distractions, temptations, and evil all around us. We are the light of the world as per God. But God is expecting us to glean from Him that which is necessary for victorious living. Through our victorious lifestyle, it will witness to others they can have this too. The world is always looking for a better way to live life but they don’t want to do the work. Sacrifice has always been the way for a higher level of expectation (hope), and desired results in life. The only way to change what we want in life, we must change what we are doing regularly in our everyday routine. That takes discipline and consistency with perseverance and steadfastness in our belief in working the work of God to our advantage. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden, as our light cannot be hidden when the power of God becomes our demeanor. Is your light bright enough to attract?

I Heard You, but I Don’t Know What You’re Talking About
Many times we hear what a person said, but we don’t hear what they meant. Some people seem to have selective hearing, they hear only what they want to. Not everyone has ears to hear what was said, and what was meant to be understood. Today’s scripture verse is Jesus speaking to His disciples about the parable of seed planting. 30, 60, and 100 fold returns on our seed planting of the word of God. In this verse He was teaching the disciples by way of a parable. He was not explaining in plain terms so He tags the parable by saying, he who has ears to hear, let them hear. As we stay tuned into what the Lord is speaking in our hearts, as well as what the written word of God says, we will have ears to hear and understand any and every parable, or example of teaching. Having ears to ear isn’t intended for only our natural ear but our spiritual ear as well. The eyes of our understanding must be enlightened by the hope of glory. Jesus is the hope of glory that can bring revelation knowledge to all natural things concerning our life. It is vitally important to have that close fellowship with God so if He sees something coming against you down the road of your future, you will have ears to hear His instructions to avoid that. We can hear what was said, but did you really understand what was meant.

Have You Lost Your Way? Ready to Give Up?
When we wander off track of the way we should go, that’s when the Great Shepard comes looking for us to help us back into the fold for protection. We are God’s sheep and He is the shepherd. Jesus said my sheep know my voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow (John 10-5,27). Our Great Shepard will leave the fold to find us when we are heading into trouble. Sometimes we listen to His voice of correction and sometimes we don’t. When we don’t we go further into unnecessary stress and troubles. Some of us have to get it the hard way. So until we are convinced we’re in real trouble, we won’t change our direction. The example of the prodigal son in the bible demonstrates what happens when we leave the fold of protection and provision. Sometimes the Lord will lead us into the wilderness for us to grow up. And because we use the fold’s protection and comfort as a crutch in life, that will stunt our spiritual growth. Spiritual growth as well as mental, and physical requires action on our part. No pain no gain is a well known phrase we’ve heard before. As human beings we are known to become very comfortable and borderline too leisurely in life to be productive or receive God’s instructions for our best lived life. If you are that sheep that has gone astray, and you’ve finally had enough of the evil roller coaster you’ve been riding, then turn back to what you know brought you more peaceful conditions. It’s never the Lord who will reprimand you for having gone astray, because He is eager to take you back in a heartbeat.

A Divided House Will Not Stand
To be in agreement with another person brings a certain power with it. The Bible says one will put a thousand to flight and two will put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). In prayer if one person is praying on an issue, that prayer puts a thousand to flight. When two people are in total agreement with resolving the issue being prayed about, that prayer puts ten thousand to flight. In the old testament the example has to do with soldiers, as far as what’s being put to flight. So when the Lord was behind Israel in battles, their one thousand soldiers could defeat ten thousand soldiers of the enemy. God was behind the scenes fighting for Israel. Today as we come together in agreement in prayer, we put to flight a thousand angels and two people believing in faith, can put ten thousand angels to flight on our behalf causing our prayers to be carried out. Angels are ministering spirits sent to help the saints of God (Hebrews 1:14). When a house is divided against itself it cannot stand. Your household can fall from constant discord. Even your physical house, temple of God (your body) must be in agreement with the rest of our make-up. We are spirit, soul, and body, which should have agreement concerning self care. Get proper rest, and exercise, eat proper foods, and feed your spirit with God’s word. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

To Be A Hoarder is To Be in Bondage
Because of so many choices and an abundance of tempting eye candy, we could get caught up in yielding to the lust of the eyes. Being on guard against all kinds of greed is the topic today. Wanting more than we need is birthed from a position of lack, lack of many necessary provisions, and unnecessary ones. We get desperate at times and want to heap up more and more, because we are well acquainted with lack in our lives for a long period of time. There is always available to everyone the immoderate desire for wealth, and the greedy longing to have more. It is a trap of the enemy to use vanity as a temptation to lure you into doing the wrong thing. Hoarders are slaves to this very thing of wanting more and more, it is a false sense of security having a lot of stuff. And many times it is in reality, stuff equal to junk. Life does not consist in an abundance of possessions, but the rule of thumb is to be content no matter what state you’re in. Paul said, “I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation” (Philippians 4:12-13). There is work to be done in building ourselves up into the potential of being content no matter what comes. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus our Lord, and we can do all things through Him as He strengthens us.
