The Panting Soul
David describes his innermost yearnings for God as the deer pants for water. We need a constant flow of connectivity with the Lord. All we need that pertains to life and Godliness is provided for by God. Our hunger for God has to do with us invoking our wills to seek Him. Once we taste and see that the Lord is good, that will wet our appetite for more spiritual nourishment from the Lord. Your soul will not naturally pant for the Lord without getting a jump start. We can be preached at until the cows come home, but until we put into action that which we’ve heard and read about God, our souls won’t be panting after Him. Meditate in this book of the law day and night, and you’ll make your own way prosperous (Joshua 1:8). Many of the blessings of God are dependent upon our participation in working, and living by His word (the book of the law). Many times we are unaware of understanding the needs of our soul. When there’s much unrest in our souls, it can be remedied by the presence of God. To get this presence of God in our souls, we must offer praise and worship in Spirit and in truth. Ask for forgiveness of any known and (unknown to you) sins you’ve committed. He’ll forgive you if you mean it, and then the pipeline is clear of debris (sin) for God to send his peace and comfort right to your soul. Praise and worship opens the door on both sides of reality, the natural realm and the spiritual one where God resides. Keeping the window of blessings open is where the good fight of faith is fought and won (1 Timothy 6:12). When your soul pants for the Lord, you’re ready for the next level in Christ.

He First Loved Us
Since God loved us first, we love Him and find our every need being taken care of by Him because of His love. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). You could say based on the principle of seedtime and harvest God planted his Son as a seed to take care of our greatest need, by allowing Him to be crucified on a cross. The greatest need of mankind whether known or not, is our freedom from habitual sin. Without changing our fallen nature, our heart (which was spiritually dead to God), we can never hope to be or to do anything of significant value for mankind or God. Loving God back is to keep His commandments (1 John 5:3). The Lord loved us even when we were His enemy. Anyone that has not received His Son for their own personal sacrifice for sin, will not be a part of God’s family, and remain His enemy. What’s worse is, after death the enemy of God will be taking their part in hell repaying justice for all the sin they’ve committed. Receiving God’s seed of love into our lives brings with it freedom from wrong doings, and a life of more peaceful surroundings. God is love and we are love children of a love God. Make Him proud and act like it.

The Mindset That Matters Most
We have the mind of Christ and, can exercise the mind of Christ in our everyday life and affairs (1Corinthians 2:16). We are the body of Christ in the earth and have access to all that’s in the head of Christ. Through close fellowship with the Lord in prayer, we can draw on the attributes of God. In our relationships with one another we should have the mindset of Christ, especially when dealing with other members of God’s family. Have the same humble mind which was in Christ Jesus Who has set the example during His earth walk. He was our example in humility. Without humility there’s no way of entering God’s kingdom. We must become our own governor over our behavior, our motives, and actions. Allow the mind of Christ to rule over your emotions and thought life. By renewing our minds with God’s teachings and precepts it will keep us in line with humility and self-control. Becoming a doer of God’s word and not a hearer only, can change your life. To mentally assent to God’s word gets you nowhere in life. The Lord needs heart belief, not mental. Heart belief which must be lived out in real time (as a way of life). Do what the word says like your life depends on it, because it does. You will always live above average when the mind of Christ in you is allowed to have full, and free expression through you.

The Power of Two
The power of agreement between two or three believers brings Jesus into the picture to help. There’s more power in getting things done for the Lord with two or more people being in harmony even as a symphony together. The Tower of Babel back in the old testament speaks of all people being on one accord accomplishing anything (there was one language spoken throughout the whole world). Because they put their minds, bodies, and souls on the exact same page, in harmony with each other, God said, they can accomplish anything they set their minds on. They were building a tower to reach the heavens (Genesis 11:1-9). And therein was the start of different languages throughout the world we now speak today. Once two or three come together in prayer in harmony with each other, making a symphony of agreement, you become an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. The potential problem is getting such people to come together like this. Everyone has their own ideas, and ways of doing things. That’s why the Lord must take the lead in everything we do. It is vitally important to know God is with you in every endeavor of life. He should be as involved with our decision making, and detailed idiosyncrasies to get himself in the ground level of the foundation and development of the assignment at hand. Two or three people coming together in faith believing God’s word, have the power to change the world.

Iron Sharpens Iron
Iron sharpens iron to bring forth a worthy purpose. It’s when people come together to reveal and or tell of the revelations they’ve received from the Lord. Sharing revelation knowledge between two or more christians helps build them up and reassures their confidence and foundational faith in believing God’s word. His word is His will, and the more clarification we get of the scriptures the better. Only the hungry for Jesus get all the goodies. We are the body of Christ on the earth. Each one of us has a particular job and purpose to do from the Lord. We are joined and held together by every supporting ligament which grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work (Ephesians 4:16). Simply put, we must work together as one unit for God, like the ants. Coming together and speaking to each other about the works of God, and how He has blessed us with every spiritual gift in heavenly places for his service, and for the edifying of the body of Christ. Iron sharpens iron when we come together and talk about the revelation knowledge of His word working in us. Walk in your worthy purpose, God needs you.

The Husband and Wife Team Riding the Waves That Lead to Victorious Living
There’s nothing more powerful than a husband and wife being on the same page serving God together. When a husband and wife have gone through the greatest suffering of their lives together victoriously, their faith binds them even closer. They become sealed as one flesh like never before, due to the fires of life melting them together. When they come together in prayer the power of agreement makes for a more desirable outcome bringing victorious living (Matthew 18:19). As you labor together with the Lord as a single person in life, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman avails much (James 5:16). The Lord has made a way for those who are to be single to still flourish in life. The husband and wife team is expected to do greater things because of the union that God has blessed them with, for His service. Being married has more obstacles and hurdles to get over. First off husband and wife must learn how to function under the same yoke. Getting any two people to walk the same path that God has ordained takes internal adjustments (especially mentally). His will is the deciding factor of who’s right or wrong in the relationship of marriage. Without the agape love of God in the mix, you could feel abused, maybe disrespected, and finding out things aren’t going the way your mind is saying it should go. It’s not your will, or your exclusive efforts that count, but God’s will must prevail (Zachariah 4:6). The sacrifice is very real, but so rewarding afterwards. We must allow the process to finish its course. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.

God Will Not Be Mocked, Your Harvest is Coming
The law of reciprocity is always in effect. Whatever you give, whether it’s money, your time, your gifts and talents or simply showing love to others, it will be given again back to you. Whatever measures you dish out, and whatever the motive or intent is involved with your giving, good or bad, it will be coming back to you that same way (Galatians 6:7-9). This law is working in every area of life. What goes around comes around. Karma is a thing based on today’s verse. We call it karma, or the law of reciprocity but they come from today’s scripture in the bible. This law can be manipulated into bringing you favor. Show love to others on purpose, and others will begin to show love towards you (a harvest takes time, wait for it). We can write our own ticket by sowing good seeds that can benefit others, and ourselves down the road. Seedtime, and harvest will not cease to exist as long as the Earth remains (Genesis 8:22). We should try to watch what we say as our words can produce a harvest of good or bad. Speaking words of life and not death will affect us sooner or later. Our words have creative power (Mark 11:22-23). It is better to give than to receive must be experienced to fully understand why this is a fact. Give and it shall be given again unto you. You decide what’s coming back to you, good or bad.

Last Chance Before Transitioning, So Dodge the Bullet While You Can
All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. God will never force himself or His ways on anyone. He created us with free will to choose whatever we want. Whatever we want can be detrimental to our health and welfare. We are created in God’s image and His likeness (Genesis 1:26), but since then, things have changed for the worst. Satan got in the picture causing mankind to sin and that brought judgement to the doorstep of mankind (Genesis 3:12-17). So we were in a position that we could not save ourselves from the eternal judgement that follows after we die. So the Lord sent Jesus to take the hit for our wrong doings, because justice must be satisfied. We have been saved from the pit and a fiery Hell. Once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, we will dodge the bullet of eternal punishment. You must invoke your will to get saved. God wants us to choose Him of our own free will. He didn’t want robots or fake pretentious people trying to worship Him. It’s all or nothing at all with Him. He wants our whole heart (Romans 10:9-10). Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved.

The Wait Is On
Waiting patiently for the Lord must become a way of life for all christians who want and need God’s help. Through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). Most of us have faith but no lasting patience. There are the fruits of our newly recreated human spirits which include the seed of patience (Galatians 5:22-23). Being a seed, is indicative of growth. So our patience can grow into the long suffering which becomes a trained practice in waiting, (as long as it takes mentality). The Lord needs time to move things around to position the right people or circumstances onto our path to bless us. This is why our patience is so important, and necessary to receive from the Lord. Once we give up on waiting we cut the pipeline of blessings from the Lord. This society we live in is so fast paced we must keep up with it to function properly. But because of this fast paced world system, our mentality says, what’s taking God so long with the provisions I need now. He will sustain you if you constantly stay positioned for the manifestation of what you prayed for to come. The Lord will turn to you because He heard your cry, but give Him time. He will lift you out of the pit of your troubles. There will always be comfort in waiting when you’re spending enough time with the Lord during the process. The more we praise and worship God, the more comfort in waiting we will experience. He will set your feet on a rock and give you a firm place to stand while waiting for your victory.

Lip Service Love, Ladies This One’s for You
The love of God bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Today’s love talk begins with us coming to a realization that the plum line throughout the Bible is Love in action. God is love and we are His children. So since we are children of a love God, our demeanor and behavior should be founded upon love in action. Lip service love helps no one and no one wants lip service love talk and no action. Our actions, motivated by love defined us, and have more weight than lip service love. Lip service love gets many women into trouble. When a man is telling a woman he loves her and really doesn’t, because he simply wants something from her to fulfill his physical needs, it’s a trap. That’s lip service love at its finest. Don’t fall for it when his actions are screaming, “don’t trust me”. Through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). Wait for the right man ladies. God will send you the perfect man when you’ve gotten yourself straight to receive him. In the mean time while you’re waiting on God, practice today’s verse. With the Lord’s help, you can bear up under anything and everything that comes. you can be ready to believe the best of every person. Your hopes can become faithless under all circumstances and you will endure everything without weakening. Trust and wait, because your true love is on the way.
