The King Leads by Example, It’s by Faith Not Feelings

Jesus was and is the King who came, and still comes in the name of the Lord. He is the mediator between God and man because He experienced the earth walk with all the temptations we deal with (1 Timothy 2:5). He has earned the right to be Who He is (Hebrews 4:15). His name is above every name because of His victory over evil while walking this life as we do. He left us hope and an example of how to live according to God’s will in this demonically influenced world. When we come in the name of the Lord, and with the knowledge of the power of the name of Jesus, we bring the peace of heaven to our doorsteps. Jesus fulfilled His earth calling by overcoming the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). As we allow the leaning of our entire personality to be on Him, we will begin to walk in the same victory Jesus did on earth. Renewing our minds with God’s word is the beginning, then it’s being willing to act on that which you have renewed your mind with. Be a doer of God’s word not a hearer only. It’s by faith, not feelings from here on.

The Light of God Which Saves You, Won’t Shine Forever

The light of God will shine on those still walking in darkness. The Lord is always knocking at the door of our hearts trying to get in. During these last days before the return of Christ, there’s a sense of urgency based on the prophecies of the Bible. This urgency has to do with the last prophecy being fulfilled which is Israel fighting war on multiple fronts, and then there’ll be peace for a season, then Jesus comes for the church to be raptured (Luke 21:25-28). The darkness must be eliminated from your life. If there’s no Jesus in your heart, you will perish after the funeral. You’ll have no covenant with God to continue with Him in heaven after your body dies. The real you continues to live on, because we were created as a spirit first, then we process a soul, and we live in a body. If there’s no Jesus in your life, you are in darkness. You know of God or you’ve heard others talk about Jesus and God but you have no relationship with Him. When you die, God’s first response to you will be, “I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:21-23). Follow the light of God’s word and receive forgiveness of your sins before it’s too late. To leave the darkness; repent of wrong doings, ask the Lord to forgive you, call upon the name of the Lord and you shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

The Righteous May Have Many Troubles, But God

We must grasp this promise of God; “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. “We can count on the Lord to deliver us from all of our troubles, not just some, but all. The only issue in God not delivering us from trouble would be because of us. Unbelief will kill a deal in a heartbeat with God. He prizes our faith to trust Him above everything, it is the single most important thing you must have in dealing with God. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). You’d want to please God as often as possible when it comes to your safety. We are especially confronted with many evils while on the offensive for God’s Kingdom. The front line special forces of God’s elite have gone through the process of dealing with much trouble. But because of many victories of God delivering them from evil, they stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). We are soldiers in God’s army who must always be on guard, and vigilant because the enemy (Satan) is searching like a lion ready to devour faithless Christians (1 Peter 5:8).

Confidence in God Wins the Day

The issue many people have when praying to God is their not sure God hears them. When we are sure God’s listening to our prayers that’s when we have the petitions we’ve asked for. Because you can’t see God and you’re not quite sure yet of knowing His voice when He’s speaking to you, this can hender the answers to our prayers (Sometimes God gives instructions or directions in receiving from Him). Confident faith is what God is looking for; so He can move in your life and get answered prayers to you. It is through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). His will is His word found in the bible where there’s everything necessary for life and Godliness which leads to victorious living. The confidence we have in God comes through close fellowship with the Lord (James 4:8). We can ask anything according to His will, and He hears us. He’s listening for His own words being prayed back to Him. Here-in lies the power to change things on earth, and get us the help in real time we need. Confidence in God wins the day.

His Blood Makes All the Difference

Without the blood of Jesus there could be no atonement of our sins. Only the blood of Jesus, (untainted by the sinful nature) was acceptable for the remission of sins. Our sins are not just covered up like in the old testament offerings, but have been totally taken away as if they never existed. God only sees us like He sees Jesus once we’ve accepted the work at Calvary He completed. Asking Him into your heart and confessing that God raised Him from death for your sake (Your justification) and eternal peace, gets us free from habitual wrong doings (Romans 10:9-10). We can now be totally forgiven for committing past sins. The blood of Jesus is looked at by God when we miss it and sin. Because Father God sees Jesus’ blood instead of our sins, we’re good (Psalm 103:12). Once you’ve received Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, you are in right standing with God. In your everyday life you will miss the mark and sin. God is faithful and just to forgive (Christians) you, because of the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). The scripture 1 John 1:9 was a letter written to the church. Confess your sin to God when you mess up (He needs to hear heartfelt repentance), He’ll forgive you immediately.

Where Are You Going After Death? Decide Now!

David knew the Lord would not abandon him to hell. Those of us who are in right standing with God will not be going to hell after death on earth (Hebrews 6:11). We can be glad and have comfort knowing where our souls will end up after these bodies go back to the earth. Having the surety of knowing your final destination is very comforting. Then again many people aren’t thinking about the next age of life because they’re too caught up and bound to this one (Matthew 12:32). There is life after death whether we believe it or not. David having a close relationship with God could discern this life on earth is not all there is. Preparing for the next life is vitally important to everyone alive right now. Spending eternity without God will be and has been a shock to all going through the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18). There’s enough material on this subject if you want to find out the truth so you can be free of wondering about it. People afraid of death don’t know God the way they should for an informed understanding of the truth, and that truth will set you free.

You Will be Sorrowful, but It Will be Turned Into Joy

We will all grieve at one point or another, it goes along with life on planet earth. The Lord is saying today you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. These are the words of God to you. Yes we all go through the storms of life but there’s always a calming right after it. Opposition goes along with the turf of being a Christian or a sinner in this world. It’s best to know how to deal with it before you get taken out because of it. God speaks his faith concerning us, trusting we will be doers of his word and not hearers only which brings us deliverance (James 1:22-25). Even Jesus wept when He found out His friend Lazarus had died (John 11:35-45). The word of God says, “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). Our portion as Christians is to participate in the battle when it comes not just standing there without retaliation (Romans 8:36-37). Fight the good fight of faith and win. The greater One lives in us, put Him to work on your behalf and experience victorious living.

Dying for A Friend, Would You do It?

Would you lay down your own life for a friend? Jesus did for us while we were His enemies (Romans 5:10). Doing this is the greatest expression of love in action. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s own life for one’s friends. This is a part of the character of God. He has demonstrated this love for us by sending Jesus the perfect sacrifice for our wrong doings; to die on the cross. Justice must be satisfied so we needed redemption from a source outside of ourselves, because we were helpless in saving ourselves from eternal punishment. The love of God makes it all possible. A friend that sticks closer than a brother will do this, His name is Jesus Christ, Savior of the world (Proverbs 18:24). Our part is to have this attitude in serving one another. We may not have to give up our life for a friend but we need the motivation of that action to stay love-connected with the body of Christ. Dying to self is the way of the faith believing Christian. Preferring your brother or sister before yourself is an act of love (Romans 12:10). We may not ever be required to give up our physical life for a friend but we can die to our fleshly desires and immoral appetites.

The Bread of Life is For Everyone Who’s Willing to Eat

Jesus is the bread of life. He is the fulfillment of God’s plan to reconcile man back to Father God. Because of the sin nature in every person from birth, we were helpless to God’s judgment for sinning. Because Jesus is the bread of life, we must connect with Him to avoid the punishment rightfully due us. Whoever eats this bread will live forever with the Lord. This bread is His flesh, which He will give for the life of the world. Once you partake of Jesus flesh (figuratively speaking), by becoming a Christian, and by practicing communion in church regularly, that too is partaking of Jesus flesh. The bread served or crackers, is symbolic of his body, and the wine, or grape juice is symbolic of his blood (1 Corinthians 11:20-25). We do this to remember the Lord until he comes again. He is the living bread of life, no different than Him being the vine of the tree and we are the branches (John 15:1-8). All nutrients and vital life given energy comes from the vine, who is connected to the trunk, overseen by the Gardener where the life power source originates. Partaking of the bread of life regularly keeps you in a victorious position with Almighty God.

The Kingdom of God Needs Fruit Bearers

Jesus is explaining how God’s program will prevail regardless of our lack of fruit bearing. The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to people that are all about God, and His desires. Our obedience is the key factor as to our prosperity from God. it is a participatory program we must follow under His teachings and precepts (Joshua 1:8). Once we are functioning in the kingdom of God, the kingdom may suffer violence but those violent about standing up for the Lord will be victorious in everything (Matthew 11:12). Living for the Lord changes everything about how we live and interact with others. The nature we acquire at the new birth is based on love (2 Corinthians 5:17) . Our demeanor changes to become more softened, our motivations are less devilish, and we’re learning to mind our own business (1 Thessalonians 4:11-14). We are to be in this world but not of it. If the world can’t tell you from a sinner, your witness for God is useless. Don’t let the kingdom of God be taken away from you. There’s so much more to life living under God’s program for you. You’ll need to reprogram your thinking by renewing your mind with God’s word. Becom a doer of the word not a hearer only. Show this world who you really are, for God,’s sake.
