The Cost Of Peace Is Free, But The Labor Isn’t
Paul the Apostle of God who wrote two thirds of the new testament in the bible, is telling the Philippians to put into practice what they’ve seen or heard in him. And he says in doing so, the God of peace will be with you. Paul pretty much was full of the Lord and doing things the Lord’s way in his personal life, to the point that the Prince of peace could manifest His presence into peace that passes all understanding. It makes no sense because it’s not about sense, feelings touch or taste, it’s about faith in believing, which is the hand that takes from God. You can write your own ticket to a more peaceful life but you may have to cancel out the drama friends, or situations that lend themselves to possible unnecessary stress in your life. There are things we must do in conjunction with believing God to do His part for us. When our natural strength, energy, stamina, or plans have been exhausted, that’s when God takes over with supernatural help. If you don’t believe this, no worries, it just won’t happen for you. All things are possible for those who believe. Fight the good fight of faith to position yourself for peace.

Are People Treating You Right?
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. Here we see the law of reciprocity, you reap what you sow. This law has been around since the beginning of time. Seed, time, and harvest. What you plant with your mouth or actions towards others, after the passing of time, your harvest of good or evil is on its way back to you. The last commandment Jesus gave, which is the fulfillment of the ten commandments, is to love your neighbor as yourself. Some of us don’t love ourselves. Low self-esteem, insecurity, and being a victim of abuse, can take the love of self out of your life. Seek the Lord like your life depends on it, because in your situation, it does. The bible says, give and it shall be given again unto you, good measure pressed down, shaken together and running over….. The amount of love you show to others, is the amount of love to be shown back to you. We write our own destiny with our thoughts and actions. Handle the game of reaching for success without bringing others down, or you won’t stand for long.

Guidelines When You Pray
“But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open”. When a person has made their lifestyle one of discipline, and structured to suit God’s ways and not their own, that person knows about not praying to impress the listener. When you pray to impress others, that’s the beginning and end of your return blessing, those few minutes of showing off with big words, or with that elizabethan tone in your voice. God wants us to simply talk to Him no different than we talk to other people, that’s prayer. But when you have grown beyond trying to impress others with the way you pray, that’s a sign of maturity. Now when you pray in your private time with the Lord behind closed doors, that’s when you’re getting things done in the spirit realm for success in the physical realm. God sees us praying like that in secret, He will then, reward us openly in front of others. The bible says, let your profit show, but not as if it were by your own doings, in a prideful way. Nothing great in this world has been accomplished without prayer or a man, or women of God working behind the scenes.

Follow The King
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever”. We change because of circumstances or situations out of our control. Certain pressures in our lives can test us. Those life pressures can keep some of us from keeping our word, our promise, or commitment to something we are expected to keep. In this life, to get ahead and be successful, you must be a man or woman of your word, be honest, people know when you’re not truthful. The Lord Jesus kept His course and commitment to God as promised. He is Lord because He kept himself free from committing sin while walking the earth as a man, not using His deity from heaven to overcome trouble. He only worked God’s word, as we are expected to do. Our spirits may be willing, but even Jesus said, the flesh is weak. But we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and we are more than conquerors through Christ. Because Jesus won’t change we can count on Him, not like a man who has the propensity to suddenly change up. If you need stability in your life, look no further. Follow the King.

The Peace Maker
“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good”. When a person is blessing you out, harassing, giving you unjust drama, before you react with the same level of intensity, and cutting words, in that moment try to respond with a soft kind reply. It will deescalate the situation because you’re not giving the other person any fuel to continue their campaign against you. If we can exercise the fruit of self-control in us, we’ll be able to not be offended, and not be reactionary to the nonsense. Since this world has become evil, we must find a way in our everyday lives to deal with it. People won’t expect you to respond with good when they come with malicious intent. It’ll throw their plan of attack sideways. Overcome evil with good, can you do it? God says you can.

The Struggle Is Real
“All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord”. Since we are called according to His purpose, and we answer the call of God, He’s there for every step of the way to help. When we love the Lord, there’s an obedience that goes with it to His commandments. We love the Lord by obeying His wishes. He only wants good for us and works through all the vicissitudes of life for our good. In prayer all things work together for our good because God answers our prayer struggles as well. On two levels of existence God is on the scene of our lives to do good. So when you’re in the next crisis of your life, know that your simply in the testing room of building faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. And all answers to prayer come by faith, you trust things will work out even though everything looks like you’re going down for the count. It’s just the first round of the fight. Trust every word of God to be true and act on it like your life depends on it, because bottom line, it does.

God Can Be Gangster
“It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed….”. The sin nature that was passed on to mankind from Adam and Eve’s transgression in the garden, has contaminated us and alienated us from the presence of God. We’d hear God’s voice very clearly if it weren’t for the sin nature in our flesh. Even though we’re born again having a new recreated human spirit, our bodies have other ideas not conducive to God’s ways. God’s loving-kindness stays the hand of God’s wrath on us, because justice must be satisfied. He’s a loving God, but He’s also a God of justice. He is faithful to His word and won’t take us out prematurely. Because we’re born into sin, God’s plan of redemption has saved those who want it. In the old days there was no grace when you messed up, boom! You’re dead from God’s lightning strike from heaven, or something. Today because of His loving-kindness we live in the dispensation of Grace, to give time for the called of God to come into His family. Make no mistake, there’s a time coming when we will have to answer to God. Get saved now!

We Are More Than Flesh And Bones
There are two parallel realms of life in existence. The higher, spiritual, eternal life, and the lower, natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth. Whoever gives up his life (which is lived only on earth) for Jesus’s sake and the gospel will save his higher, spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God. Most of us don’t have a clue about these things because we’re not exposed to the knowledge of it. We do what everyone else does and has been doing concerning living. The message here isn’t to die physically for Jesus, but to change our way of living to conform to the plan of reconciliation of Almighty God. Each of us has a life plan from the Lord, from birth to death, but we need to tap into it. We all have a part to play in the plan of reconciliation, so as we get too busy for God and ourselves, we don’t connect to our God given destiny and purpose. Once we’ve tapped into our purpose here and now, we will secure our spiritual life after death. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, will be saved.

How Much Can You Take?
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad”. We must always protect our hearts. What we hear and see are gateways into the heart. What we watch on TV or the internet can profoundly affect our hearts. When we hear or see something all the time, we become attached to it, and it to us, good or bad. Hearing, “you’re no good” all the time will begin to make you feel like you’re no good. Seeing horrible imagery all the time will affect us negatively. To worry is to be overly concerned about something that may never happen. You’re throwing today’s happiness away because you’re using unwarranted energy which belongs to tomorrow, it’s exhausting. The importance of being surrounded by positive, happy people is vital to help keep anxiety and worry at bay. But ultimately, God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a clear thinking mind. There’s no room for worry when a clear thinking mind is in charge. We are human and from time to time an encouraging word can lighten the load and bring gladness.

What’s Up With Your Thoughts?
“In the multitude of my (anxious) thoughts within me, Your comforts cheer and delight my soul”. What do you do when there’s a multitude of anxious thoughts in your head, glad you asked. The thought life of some of us can be very scary. We cannot control the thoughts that come into our minds, but we can decide what to do with them before we act on them. If you’re a reactionary type person, you’ll need to focus and concentrate a bit more when the anxious thoughts come, and slow yourself down to digest what’s really being said, and how the thought was intended. Bringing every thought into captivity and making it subject to the obedience of Christ. The thought life is another realm of life that shouldn’t be left to run amok. Our thoughts, when left unattended, have the power over time to control our lives good, or bad. The Lord is aware of our makeup and the struggle going on down here, and has made a way of escape. His word says, think on whatsoever things are trustworthy, pure, lovely, of a good report, change channels in your mind, and put on anointed music until you are able to stand your ground with total mastery over your thoughts. Thoughts come, but they don’t have to rule you.
