“For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you”. I post these nuggets of my revelations of God’s word, and my fellowship with Him as I’m given the verse from the you version bible app. So we’re talking about unforgiveness again. As we forgive others, God will also forgive us. Plain and simple how it works. Not so plain and simple to forgive an offensive done to us. I can forgive a person and not be required to spend time with the offender. I can forgive them and not be friends with them. The straight and narrow way to forgive someone, if they’re still around, is to explain to them what they did to you, and how it hurt you, but I’ve decided to forgive you for what you did to me, and no longer will I allow you to have that power over me of hating you for it. That confession from your lips alone will free the hell out of you. Whether they accept what you’re saying to them or not, you will be free!

“There is none holy like the Lord, there is none besides You; there is no Rock like our God”. There’s none that can constantly rule and reign in love, joy, peace, kindness, patience, self-control, and the rest of the fruit of the newly recreated human spirit, no matter what circumstances are in the picture God doesn’t change. It is us who are subject to change when under the pressures of life. God does say, “be ye holy for I Am Holy”. We have the potential to walk in holiness, the fruit of this Godly quality was put in us at the new birth. Fruit implies growth, and development is a must! When you become a Christian, sanctification is included, you were ordained to be in God’s company and for His use while on planet earth. In dealing with life’s everyday struggles, it’s an excellent training ground to perfect Christians in the art of holiness. Many get caught up in their everyday affairs to the point of not even being mindful of the importance of this necessary attribute of the Lord. Be the rock in your circle of influence so that others will want what you have. The consistency of your Christian walk will win a person to God just as fast, in some cases even faster, then going to church and hearing the preacher preach or teach. Selah

“So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock”. The word of God, or words of Jesus more specifically in this case, are spirit and life. They have the power to change things. The words of life can be impactful on the person who trusts in, relies on, and acts on the spoken word of God from their lips. God shall not be mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall be reap. Sowing seeds of God’s word can produce a most desired harvest. The storms of life come to us all. When you build your life on truth and totally allow the words of life to dominate you, the storm will not overtake you unto disaster. Building our foundation for abundant life on God’s word, will cause us to stand the trials and tests of life in total victory. It is wise to build a foundation of life using the words of the one who created life. As always, the choice is yours. Jesus said, whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Life can shake you, make your foundation sure.

“For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]”. Our thought life can take us on journeys we don’t want. We can’t control the thoughts that come into our minds, but we can decide what to do with them when they do, and not let them control us. I literally speak out this verse over and over when constant bad thoughts come. Speaking God’s word out of your mouth with true belief, gets the job done. The spirit of those bad thoughts cannot stand the constant confession of God’s word without eventually leaving you alone. Think on whatsoever is, true, worthy of reverence, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and whatever is kind, winsome, and gracious, think on these things, change the channel in your head. This is going toe to toe with mind binding spirits and bad thoughts at their highest intensity. Get rid of bad thoughts, work the word until they go.

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]”. There’s a mouth full there about fear and love. They cannot dwell in the believing heart of a Christian at the same time. Fear will get rid of faith and love if you allow it. But perfect love, mature love, drives out fear. We must master the love walk because it empowers our faith, which will not allow fear to cripple your life. The love walk will not allow another person to disrespect you either. You’re not a door mat to be walked on by anyone. Wisdom dictates when to let an offense pass, and when tough love needs to be executed to put that person in there place. Understanding makes it easier to deal with unlovable people. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a clear thinking mind. If you’re not thinking clearly these days, it could be the spirit of fear behind the scenes working in you undetected. There’s no law that can come against the active agape love of God in a person.

“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]”. The Lord is speaking here with intent of you following His teachings and precepts. Without them it won’t be easy to keep your peace. First of all, Jesus is the Prince of peace, and to have the peace that passes all understanding you must have Jesus in your life. The more Jesus in your life, the more His peace can be experienced. When we allow drama filled people and or situations that yell drama into our lives, we won’t have any peace of mind. We can control the natural things that can take away our peace. Then there’s the other side of life, the spiritual side that needs your attention. The life we live is either controlled by us, or a spiritual entity behind the scenes we’re not aware of. The spirit of fear is very real. You can’t see it but it’s around, and attracted to the area you’re oblivious to. Fear can rob your peace, mature perfect love will drive it away. Walk in love, and lose the drama in your life, peace will be right there waiting.

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me”. The Lord needs laborers to go out into the fields to reap the harvest which is ripe. God cannot physically carry out His plan for mankind without man. Man has the dominion in the earth not God. It was given to us in the garden with Adam and Eve. Much has transpired since then, but for God to override His own law of man running the world system, He’d be no better than the devil. He needs us to get the job done. So who will answer the call, who will stand up for the Lord and help fulfill His plan of reconciliation. We need God, but He needs us as well. The Lord expects us to exercise authority over our trials, crisis, and bad situations using His word. We must work the word of God in every situation and circumstance of our life. Stand up for what’s already been given to you by God. Learn to fight, learn how to stand during troubled times. It will make you fit for God’s army. Can God send you?

“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]”. No one can successfully be against us when we know God’s on our side. If you’re not sure God’s on your side, you’re not using His full potential in your life. Since faith is the hand that takes from God, if your faith is weak, then the hand that takes from God isn’t working properly for you. There’s nothing that can successfully come against you and prosper when your faith to believe God is strong. When you trust God blindly, with all the conviction of knowing He’ll come through on your behalf, it’s a wrap for victory. Man has not been redeemed from the curse of the law if he has not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savoir of his life. We have been made more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Once you’ve begun to understand your authority in Christ, you won’t accept a lot of the garbage thrown at you in this world. Your dominion status has been restored in Christ. So operating as a mere man (lower nature controlled), you are limited and normally will settle for less. Since God is for us, nothing can successfully be against us. We can live above the evil in this world by simply following the teachings and precepts of God. I get it, most of us don’t want to study on a regular basis, no time, etc. If you want to stop getting beat up by life, and people, do the work, and learn of God.

“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land”. The words of God, His promises, are conditional. We have a part to play in being blessed. The busyness of your life can and will keep you from seeking the Lord if you let it. You’ll never have time for God if you don’t make time. Face it, that’s how it is these days. If you never plan, and make time for a vacation, you’ll never have one. I’m sure you’ve noticed time seems to be compressed these days, going by faster than we realize. Our time on earth is limited and fleeting. If you know you need to repent about something you’ve done wrong that still bugs you, do it now! God hears us from heaven when we humble ourselves, slow it down, and pray. He wants to be included in our everyday lives. He can’t hear you when sin is in your life. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path into victory no matter what you’re dealing with right now. You have not, because you ask not. God’s ears are open to the humble. He also receives the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man which avails much. Level with Him, and make things right in your life.

“Those who live in God should live like Jesus”. If we’re saying we abide in Him, we ought (as a personal debt) to walk and conduct ourselves in the same way Jesus did. Putting our money where our mouth is can be challenging. When it comes to walking in a manner pleasing to God it takes self discipline, long-suffering, and the ability to wield the word of God. Having an understanding of God’s word gives the advantage to you in times of attack from the enemy. Knowing your authority in Christ Jesus is a must to advance in life to the abundant life God already promised us, but it’s not just gonna fall into your lap. To live for Christ makes you a target of Satan. If you’re a closet type Christian (no one knows you are one) the devil doesn’t pay you any mind, your not a treat to him being a weak Christian. Those who want to be in that number of the marching saints of God’s army are mature, trial, and crisis tested ready for a fight at any moment. To live like Jesus, is to first know Him. ” Meditate in this book of the law day and night, and you’ll make your own way prosperous”. The Kingdom of God demands your allegiance for effective service to God, and victorious living through all life battles.
