Jesus told His disciples that he was the light of the world. He has all the attributes of light such as, clarity of mind, pure sight into discerning mysterious people who seem off. Clear sight of wolves dressed in sheep clothing. The light of life has discernment into spiritual things not seen by human eyes. We can glean from Jesus all the attributes of light to work in us unto victorious living. The smallest amount of light in a dark room rids the area of unseen spiritual demonic activity. When you show up into an uneasy bad situation, the light of life that emanates from you will be highly respected by demonic entities. Knowing who you are in Christ brings the fire of the Holy Spirit on the scene of trouble. Wielding that Holy Ghost fire is a part of our inheritance and purpose under God’s direction. Jesus is the light of the world and whoever follows Him will never walk in darkness. He is the living word of God embodied with the light of life (John 1:1-5). As we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, that light of life lives in us. It can and must be developed in us so we can be human dispensers of the light. The light carries the life of God (Zoe life, which lights every person) a life that never ends. We are eternal beings who will end up one place or another after our body dies. The final destination of each human being is based on their belief or disbelief in God. The light of the world shines brighter and brighter as God’s family grows.

God showed His love by sending His only Son into the world that we might live through Him. That we might live through Him, what does that mean? The Lord gave us the example of how to live through Jesus by having Jesus come to earth and deal with the same struggles and horrors we have to. For a closer look, and to experience the human understanding of how we live with the demonic oppression of Satan everywhere. In doing this, He became the mediator between God and Mankind. Experiencing everything the devil comes against us with. And He learned obedience by the things He suffered, as we must do (Hebrews 5:8). Jesus came to earth without all His deity and Power. He worked the word of God the way we must in order to be successful in life (Matthew 4:1-4). Most people do not know of these vitally important reasons for God to send Jesus. The love of God didn’t care that mankind was His enemy at the time. He knew we wouldn’t stand a chance against the gates of hell unless love sent the sacrifice for our sins. If Jesus hadn’t come to save us from our wrong doings, justice would not have been satisfied. God is a God of Justice no different than He is a God of love. To live through Jesus, is to live a victorious lifestyle, above the evil in this world.

To receive the gift of the Holy Spirit we must be forgiven of our sins. He, the Holy Spirit, can’t dwell in a dead dirty spirit. Before we were born again christians, we (our human spirits), were dead to God. The sin nature was in every person since Adam and Eve dropped the ball in the garden. Since Jesus made a way to restore mankind back to God, we can have a clean spirit that is alive to God. Once we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, we can ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit. The gift is simply a deeper dimension of God. It is expressed, and the power of it is released by speaking in an unknown tongue (the language of the Angels). The purpose of this speaking in tongues is to pray back to God His perfect prayer from us to Him. Our minds won’t understand and it can sound like gibberish coming out of our mouth. Allow no one to discourage you from getting hold of this gift. Understanding what it is before you go after it, so you can be comfortable about it. Read the beginning chapters of the book of Acts in the Bible (Acts 2:1-12). It is a vital gift from the Lord that is essential for our furtherance in Christ. We build up our most holy faith by praying in the spirit, or in tongues (Jude 1:20). It energizes our human spirits to have faith in the promises of God more easily. We also prepare our pathway in life to become more smoothly by praying in tongues regularly. It’s more of God in your life, either you want it, or you don’t. You can listen to unbelieving, ignorant people concerning this, or you can obey God by trusting it’s a vital part to your arsenal against your enemies.

We receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. So in reality we receive ability, efficiency, and might when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. Power to witness to others about the Lord Jesus Christ. Once we’ve been endowed with the deeper dimension of God, strength also is picked up. The evidence of having this power is speaking in an unknown tongue. It is considered to be the language of the Angels. This language, when utter prays the perfect will of God back to Him. Speaking in tongues has not passed away, only the Apostles from back in the day who were the first to experience this power. Praying in tongues also builds up our inner man, our human spirit. When you pray in tongues, or it is also called praying in the Holy Ghost. You are also laying down tracks for God to work with on your behalf. Tracks of safety, tracks of clearing something out of your path that would have been detrimental, for covering family members, etc. Once we’ve boarded this train, we will be witnesses for God to go out into all the world and spread the gospel.

The message for today is the Lord giving instructions on making disciples of all nations. We start with our neighbor who is anyone we come into contact with, not just the people dwelling next door to your house. Make disciples of all nations, that simply means make disciples of all peoples. Nations are just groups of people in a concentrated area. The Lord has servants in every part of the world, they are like secret agents ready to do kingdom battle in making new disciples for God’s family. We are laborers together with God (1 Corinthians 3:9). He will always help walk us through the process of soul winning. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6). God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. The Lord set in motion the way to reap His harvest of new souls. He has given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness for contending with the enemy who will try blocking you (2 Peter 1:3). The devil still has the legal right to mess with us. Because of Adam and Eve obeying him in the garden, which changed everything concerning us living God’s intended way of life. We must go after that which God has sacrificed His only Begotten Son for. Those that will hear His voice of repentance on your lips, will be saved, becoming a new creature in Christ. That’s What’s up.

Give freely and become more wealthy, be stingy and lose everything. This is a Godly principle that’s not easy for many people. In this world we live in, there’s a sense of want that drives people to heap up provisions unnecessarily and mostly from an inordinate desire. That’s the element of fear pressing towards the worry of not having. You know, from a sick soul position you can worry about having stuff, and you already have everything you need or truly want, that is an evil spirit working you. Developing the habit of catch and release, which is a fisherman’s practice. We are to be as the running rivers, and lakes having water moving in and out of the area. A constant flow in and releasing onto the next body of water that comes along, and the process continues causing the former body of water not to stagnate. As we hold on to money too tightly, it will find a way to escape us. As we give, it shall be given again unto us (Luke 6:38). Our money can stagnate and then dry up from our bank account. There must be the flow in and out of our finances, it is an unseen spiritual law for prosperity. The law of reciprocity has been established in this world by God long ago. Whatever we sow (finances or anything) we will reap a harvest, a bountiful one or one of little worth. Sow the seed you’re not comfortable sowing, knowing God’s directing you to give more for a big return. The idea is to get used to giving freely in a habitual way without thinking about it. As we freely give we will become more wealthy.

‭We are the branches and Jesus is the vine, and the vine in this case is connected to our Father who is in heaven. From the Father to Jesus, and from Jesus to us comes all the necessary help we need in this life for victorious living. Jesus is the mediator between God and us. He is also our sustaining life force which is vitally important to our natural and spiritual success. The works the Lord has called each of us to, can only be completed properly by drawing from the vine. The Vine has already defeated all the works of the devil, so as we draw from the Vine, we are drawing from the riches in glory that Father God supplies in Christ Jesus. We are totally equipped for producing fruit for the kingdom of God. The fruit we must bear is, going out to witness the gospel to others. Leading them to the Lord to get saved, and simply positioning ourselves to be in constant use by the Lord to grow His family, and save the lost. Jesus has said in this verse, every branch that does not produce fruit, Father God will remove. Those of us that are producing fruit will be pruned from time to time so you can bear more fruit. Don’t mistake the pruning for maybe you did something wrong and you’re thinking you’re being corrected by God for it. We must learn to stand firm on God’s word no matter what we’re dealing with. If you are not producing fruit (maybe you’re a closet Christian), Father God will remove you. You must have purpose in life or why are you here.

‭More people would call on the Lord if they knew how good He is. They can’t know how good He is without His servants fulfilling the command of reconciliation. In a nutshell, we are to get saved, renew our minds with God’s word, go through faith testing, and then go out and grow God’s family. As we go we need to understand our authority in Christ, and our armour must be in place for resistance from the evil we will encounter (Ephesians 6:10-18). The Lord gives us the faith to believe Jesus is Lord and Savior of our lives at the time of the sinner’s prayer, when we lead someone to Christ. Many don’t want to receive Him, and that’s unfortunately their deadly choice. Today thank God for the Internet which means we can go into all the world and preach the gospel without physically going. There must be the normal person to person ministry as well. The Bible says always be ready to give a word in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). Those times you find yourself in the middle of a conversation before you realize it was going to happen, are many times open doors for ministry. You trying to figure out during the conversation why is this person pouring out their guts to me. It’s a cry for help without them asking, and our sensitivity to our Lord is important in that moment. Satan has many agnostic people around influencing the darkness, and terminating belief in God. God’s faith believing servant, equipped with the power of God can destroy that influence. Help them believe, make sure they’ve heard, and preach and teach the gospel to everyone you can.

‭There has always been an established way of receiving from the Lord. In this way, we are to have the go get’em attitude, and motive. We have not because we ask not, but many times we ask the Lord for things based on selfish inordinate reasons. The Lord won’t give us that which could take us right to hell. If we can’t handle it, it will handle us in a bad way. Seek and you shall find. Many of us won’t seek out for what we desire or need because we predetermine a negative outcome before we even try. To be defeated in your mind before you start is a clear sign of the need to renew your mind with God’s word. Our thought processing needs restructuring after becoming a Christian. Knocking on the door of new endeavors is a vital part of fulfilling our individual destiny and purpose. Knock and you shall receive, is a command from the Lord. We are laborers together with God, so we include Him in everything. Many times it will be necessary to come outside of our comfort zone to get ahead in life. Everyone who knocks, the door will be opened, these are the words of the Lord to encourage us. Be bold, be strong, for the Lord thy God is with you (Joshua 1:9). Keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking until you get what’s yours!

Long ago when Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she visited her cousin. Elizabeth, Mary’s cousin, was telling Mary she was blessed of God because of her belief that God would fulfill His promises to her. The blessing is in the “Believing God”. God wants to see our faith, especially when the answer takes a long time in coming. The promise was a child, a child not like any other. Mary said yes to the angel delivering the message from God. The Holy Spirit overshadows her to become pregnant with the sinless seed, Jesus. The blessing will always be our believing God, trusting God, and counting on God. Once we can genuinely rely on God like it’s second nature, then we will be able to understand the blessing is in the believing God. To be faith trained is to have every blessing bestowed upon you. God is always seeking to teach us the way of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6). Mary had faith to believe, and trust the Lord. Training for a life of faith requires many areas of learning. So don’t get discouraged during the process along the way. Although Mary was the Mother of Jesus it was never intended for people to pray to her for anything. She carried the blessing, she was not the blessing for the world, Jesus is. Once you can truly believe that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you, it’s a wrap, and NEVER let that go you.
