Should we worry about anything, and does it even help?
We can all get into our heads too much concerning what to eat or drink, or what to wear. Our daily needs are supplied by the Lord but sometimes we need a bird in the hand right away. As we give, it shall be given again unto us, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall God cause other people to give towards our provisions and basic needs. As our concerns turn into worry that’s when we should get to praising and worshipping the Lord. When you do this at your time of great need, it shows your faith to God and the devil. Holding steady until the Lord manifests the need is most important. God can move the due date to any of our bill’s deadlines. He can cause unexpected money to come to us as we don’t give up on being patient during the trail, or storm we’re dealing with. God says He will supply our needs according to His riches in glory, which means more than enough (Philippians 4:19). We are to basically be like sheep counting on the Shepard for everything concerning our lives. The Lord takes care of that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8). No need to worry or be anxious about anything because the Lord has covered everything concerning us. Understanding how the Kingdom of God operates is part of renewing our minds. This will help us be patient in waiting for the promise to come.

Make way for the King’s highway
This is about Jesus’ cousin John crying in the wilderness, his declaration to the people about Jesus. Jesus shortly after was baptized by John. John said to Him; “It is you who should be baptizing me… and Jesus replied; we must fulfill all manner of righteousness”. Jesus was meek, having the power to summon legions of angles to fight for Him, but He chooses to take the humble approach towards us. He makes a way from no way out situations. He calms the storms in our lives with a word. His words of truth in our mouths can change our bad situations. He is Lord over everything, even the trouble or crisis in our lives. Jesus laid down an example while walking the earth, to work God’s word for victorious living on every level of life. He used the word of God only, when dealing directly with Satan during His forty days of fasting, when Jesus was at His weakest. Satan will back down to the words of God spoken from the lips of a true believer in God’s word. The devil knows if you have heart faith opposed to head faith. Mentality assenting to God’s word won’t cut the mustard, If it’s not in our hearts it won’t produce the power Satan’s afraid of. That’s why faith is so important in the things of God. We all live in the desert of this fallen world system. It is time for us all to make straight, a highway for our God. The highway starts with us being bold about and for God towards others. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Why follow something else?

Faith, hope, and love
Faith hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love. Why is love the greatest thing, because God is love and that character trait in us has the power to cover a multitude of sin. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. His Son, overcame the world and the sin problem. With sin unresolved, there’s no salvation from justice or punishment. Without hope we’d all be lost without purpose, we’re just existing. Hope is an important ingredient dealing with life in general. When we give up hope the curtain is drawn on going forward unless God intervenes. Since faith is the hand that takes from God, our connection with Him in this way is necessary. We got saved by faith, we believed and we confessed what’s in our hearts. Faith drives our hope into action for manifestation of a thing to come to pass. These three are very necessary for victorious living. The emphasis is on love because without love faith and hope would not exist, since God is love (1John 4:8). Grow in love and let love grow in you.

God’s good pleasure
God is expecting to bless those of us that reference Him. Godly fear is that of reference and honor. So when we have Godly fear towards Him and we hope in His steadfast love, it brings Him pleasure. God pretty much just wants to be God in our lives. He wants to help us on our journey through life. With all the problems we face in life, He has provided the answers for every one of them. Acknowledging the Lord in all of our ways, He will direct our path. He can see the pitfalls down the road of our life before we get there, thereby redirecting our steps around it. The footsteps of a good man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). The fear of the Lord is also the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). We have the mind of Christ and can exercise the mind of Christ in our everyday lives, and affairs. But to have understanding which springs off of Godly wisdom, leading the way of our destiny and purpose, we will succeed in life. God’s good pleasure comes from our obedience to His word. We can hope in His mercy and loving-kindness as our support and protection from the dark side of life’s traps. Continue to hope, it is not in vain and it will keep you on course with your purpose and destiny.

Keep hope alive
Are we holding our hope firmly enough. We can trust a hope when the Lord has spoken it. He is faithful who promised and He is the Lord Jesus Christ. He walked our earth walk and knows the “hope attackers” of life. Those that try and bring us down when we may have received a God given idea, that’s a hope attacker. Never share your heart of purpose, and destiny with unbelieving people. Most dreams are lived by faith at the beginning of the journey. The Lord always wants to see your faith in action. And usually at the point we may feel like giving up, He’ll give us a minor victory for encouragement to carry on. Jesus is the hope of glory, the Prince of Peace ever present in times of need. We won’t have all the pieces in place at first but since we are laborers together with God, He’ll make a way out of no way so you can pass over to the other side. The point here is not to let go of your hope (Jesus), or entertain swerving hope. No matter what’s going on around you, you’re not going under, it’s God’s promise. If you go under you participated in the maneuver, if you stay in faith which drives our hope, you’ll have flawless victory.

No more closet christian stuff, come out before Jesus returns!
Do you shy away from being open about your faith. Take no condemnation because of it, but use it as a measuring stick to know where you really stand with God. If the Lord is your closet friend, and not your friend in public, then we have some work to do. Confidence comes through the surety of your relationship with someone. After a long relationship of trust with another person or the Lord, there comes a bond that is as natural as breathing. Once that bond has been established, you’ll be open to talking about your faith as necessary to witness for Christ. It is a process so don’t get discouraged in trying. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other. Slow, and steady growth is better than a fast burst of a short lived victory. Study to show yourself approved by God, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Meditate in it day and night and you’ll not only make your own way prosperous but you’ll be bold for the Lord and in the power of His might. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks about your faith. If you truly revere Him in your heart, you will be ready.

Fear must bow to the God inside minded believer
We have been commanded to be strong, courageous, and firm. We are told not to fear or be in terror before our enemies. This word from the Lord has been given with the understanding from God Himself, we can keep His command not to fear. You may be a fearful person more easily than someone else. If so, you need to spend more time with the Lord in closer fellowship. Perfect love drives out fear, and God is love (1John 4:18). We must go forth courageously in front of our enemies so they see we’re not gonna back down. Since God goes with us, the more God inside minded we are, the better. As you go through the worst of battles the Lord your God will never forsake you. Learning how to use the weapons of our warfare is the way. Our weapons from God are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Weapons for spiritual warfare are necessary to fight in that realm. Most human trouble is started from the spiritual realm by the devil and his cohorts. His job is to kill, steal, and destroy, and he hates christians the most. Since Jesus defeated Satan in hell, the Lord has reestablished our authority in the earth, and over the devil. But, if we don’t understand our position in Christ, the devil will know it, and he will use your authority against you. He’ll get us to speak unbelief into our lives which negates all help from God, and fear will have an open door to come for you. Know who’s backing you, and you’ll fight the good fight, and win!

Strength to carry on, because the struggle is real!
Waiting on, and hoping in the Lord will renew our strength. Spending quality time with the Lord is vitally important to our spiritual health and welfare. Even the Lord Jesus, when walking the earth doing His ministry throughout the land had to pull away from the noise and recharge. When we are still and know that He is God, He can give us strength, and spiritual energy which spills over into our minds and bodies. We get energized from the Lord with a spiritual download from heaven. But the connection must be that of strong faith. The more time with God, the stronger our faith gets. Hoping in the Lord is the driving force of our faith. We will soar like on the wings of an eagle, we will run and not grow weary. We must rest (get proper sleep) to keep our bodies working at an optimal level for executing our downloaded assignment from the Lord. Fulfilling Our God given plan and purpose is dependent upon God’s help, which is received by faith and patience. As we expect, look for, and hope in the Lord, our strength will change, it will be renewed in our minds and bodies.

Hurry up and wait!
Waiting on the Lord has many benefits. The bible says, wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength. Waiting on the Lord is actually an action without motion. Our expectation is built on the reality of God’s manifested word in our life. This takes seed, time, and then harvest. Planting seeds of whatever we’re desires of, must be watered with thanksgiving, and then confessed into reality based on the word of God’s patience. Harvesting anything to come to pass takes time, or you could say constant perseverance in waiting. Everyone being different means some of us are more patient in nature than others. It’s a training exercise without movement. It’s a time of getting better acquainted with the Lord. Studying His word will build patience in our human spirits. God’s word is spirit and it is life, it is a living entity that is alive, sharper than any two edged sword ready to divide asunder the bone and marrow of our make up. Many times during our private fellowship with the Lord He will instill in us what we need to help us trust Him. He knows without patience we can’t receive from Him. We’d be gone from the place of blessing before He’s able to drop it into our laps. Through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). Trust the word of God on every level, and watch Him do for you what He can’t for others who won’t work His word.

The gift of salvation from eternal death has been given, choose life
It is through God’s unmerited favor that we have been saved. Taken from the claws of hell’s grip. We are saved because of our belief in the Lord’s work at Calvary. We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from death for our justification. We are now in right standing with God. He’s not out to get us any more due to the sin nature we were in bondage to. The only sin that sends you to hell is not receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. Our human spirit before Christ, was dead to God, thus hellbound, God’s enemy. Now we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Outside of that righteousness, there are none worthy of the Lord. We could not save ourselves from habitual wrong doings, so Jesus stepped in of His own will to save us from eternal damnation. This gift of God must be received, it will never be forced on anyone. Here’s where our free will must go into action. Unlike the devil who forces us from the dark side to do bad, God created us with free will. We must choose the Lord exercising our free will, which makes it official. God has done all He can or needs to, concerning our salvation, the rest is up to us. If you haven’t chosen Him yet, tomorrow could be too late. Even if you’re already saved, a professed christian, there’s still work to be done on yourself, and for God’s master plan of life. Know who you are in Christ Jesus and use the power of your faith for victorious living.
