The Three Wise Men, and Worshiping Angels

The three wise men were told of the Messiah’s birth by an angel. Once the angel began praising God over this great news, a host of other angels appeared before them praising God together. This great news delivered by the angel was for all mankind to have peace and joy on the earth in spite of the evil down here. Jesus, the Prince of Peace is the way, the truth and the life, no one gets to heaven except through Him (John 14:6). All glory to God because He has made a way for everyone to live above the evil in this world (John 17:15). It is a participatory function though. You must live your life according to the teachings and precepts of God’s word. This will cause you to be exactly where God wants you to be so when His blessings come down, you’ll be in position to receive it. We walk by faith not by sight, and we must be led by our spirits and not by our emotions, or inordinate desires (Romans 7:14). We can only stand strong in God if we purpose to. God deserves the glory whether you give it to Him or not. His favor rests upon those that have tasted and seen that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8). We can write for our own ticket with God for victorious living, just give Him the glory.

Angels Harken to The Voice of God in Mankind

The angel of the Lord came to the Shepards in the fields, who were keeping watch over their flocks. The angel told them about the good news that will cause great joy for all people. The birth of Jesus was told to the three wise men, so they went to Bethlehem to find Jesus and bring precious gifts to Him. When the angel of the Lord appeared to the three wise men, the glory of the Lord was great and caused them to be terrified (Luke 2:8-9). Especially when the angel started praising God then and there, a company of heavenly host appeared with the angel praising God. That would have terrified anybody, but it was necessary for those men to understand, they were part of the story that could not be left out. They went to Jesus bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh; very expensive and valued gifts of the day. God will cause extreme measures to happen when His plan is at stake. His angels harken to the voice of God’s word coming out of the mouth of faith believing Christians. Angels are here to help us behind the scenes with our assignments from God (Hebrews 1:14). If we see them in this earth realm, it’s because God wanted you to for a reason. Don’t be afraid is the first words out of the angel’s mouth. Desperate times can bring desperate measures for correction, or necessary revelation from God Himself.

Born In a Manger Doesn’t Define You

When Jesus was born it was in a barn with the animals. How much more humbling could that picture be in the name of humility. Jesus was and is of humble, meek character. Being meek isn’t being weak, it’s knowing you have the power or the where with all to handle a violent situation if need be. Mary gave birth to her first child Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus was wrapped in swaddling clothes and was laid in a manger because there was no room in the Inn. His birth was significant in coming from a lowly place in this world to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus fulfilled all manner of righteousness by even allowing John the Baptist to baptize him. John was reluctant because he knew it was the Son of God coming to Him for what would seem to John as unnecessary (Matthew 3:12-15). John the Baptist didn’t’ feel worthy to perform that baptism on Jesus the Son of God. Jesus lowered Himself as a man in the first place coming to earth, so there was and is no inflation of pride like a mere man. The plum line of humility runs through the body of Christ, but is it running through you since you’ve been a member of Christ’s body.

When the Clock Strikes 12, Will You Make Heaven?

The Greek form of Jesus’ name is Joshua, which means Savior. Jesus came to earth and completed His assignment from God. He died on a cross, was raised from the dead, and now seated in heaven at God’s right hand, oh yeah, He’s alive today! He has prepared the way for those who choose this salvation so they can live the true scope of life how God intended, straight into eternity. The sin nature in every person has us limited to God’s best life. We become like mere men and woman; in the world without God’s help. The Lord told Mary after she accepted His assignment, you would give birth to a son and you’re to give him the name Jesus. The Lord went on to tell Mary, He will save His people from their sin. We cannot help ourselves out of the sin nature, so God sent Jesus to satisfy judgement on our behalf. He is our sacrifice for all the punishment mankind deserves. God is love, but He’s also a God of justice. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are saved according to Romans 10:9-10. You’ll go one way or the other at the midnight hour, choose your fate now!

Mary Fulfilled Her Purpose, Jesus too, It’s Your Turn

Mary was expressing how her soul praises, and how her spirit rejoices in God her Savior. Mary was chosen to give birth to the Messiah, the Savior of the world. She was so excited about her ministry of bringing the Son of God into the world. She was visiting her cousin Elizabeth who was pregnant with John the Baptist at the same time Mary was pregnant with Jesus. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting coming into the house, the baby in her womb leaped, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:39-47). Mary realized the gravity of what she was going to be involved with as per God, was of great significance, bigger than herself. Many of us have been given an assignment from God that is very necessary. Never think what you’ve been given from God to do is of zero significance compared to someone else. All parts of the body of Christ are totally important for the forward movement of the kingdom of God; you are a supporting ligament at least (Ephesians 4:16). Mary did her part, Jesus was born on earth, died, went to hell to destroy the works of Satan, doing His part. And now it’s your turn to fulfill your God given purpose. We find our purpose in God by spending time with Him through praying and studying His word which is His will for you.

    Will You Answer the Call?

Mary was given the most important ministry a woman could have. She accepted the Lord’s will in obedience to her calling, so Jesus would have a legal entry into mankind, not like the devil who snuck in (John 10:10). Sometimes our calling finds us, even though it’s something each person should aspire to obtain. God will allow many opportunities to come our way that He knows is the best thing for us to be involved with. It is still up to us to accept it because of our free will, not even God will override that. Mary made a decision to accept the Holy Spirit overshadowing her and impregnating her with that Holy, sinless Seed. Jesus never had the sin nature like all of mankind because God in heaven is His father. Jesus couldn’t have completed His ministry with the sin nature in Him (1 Timothy 3:16). The Son of God, God’s only begotten Son had a ministry only He could compete. We have ministries that only we can complete for the Lord. Mary accepted her calling, Jesus accepted His calling, and we must decide to accept our calling and God given purpose in life. You being uncomfortable has nothing to do with it, just do it.

What Did Jesus Really Do for Us, Does it Matter?

A Child is born to us, and the government shall be upon His shoulder. His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. That’s a month full by itself. This Child that grew up and became Lord and Savior of the world is Jesus Christ the Son of God. It was His sacrifice that saved us from the fires of hell. His sacrifice broke and destroyed the works of the devil so we could be free from habitual sin. It’s our choice to live in this freedom by being doers of God’s word, not hearers only (James 1:22-25). Father God sent Jesus to destroy the works of the devil, and He did so by giving Satan the Holy beat down in hell (1 John 3:8). Now we don’t have to carry our sins there personally, and forever be in hell. The work at Calvary was necessary and the work in us needing to be done is necessary for the completion of the abundant life promised by God. As we yield to, and eventually find it enjoyable to do God’s commandments, we can live above the evil in this world (John 17:15). That was the ultimate purpose of the work at Calvary, because evil shall remain until Jesus’ return.

So You Feeling Less Than, Right Now?

Many times great things and people come from what’s considered a small, unknown, insignificant town, or city on the map. It was said concerning Jesus “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth” (John 1:45-46) and He was the most valuable person in the world. Bethlehem Ephrathan was a small village among all the people of Judah, but the Messiah came from that very small in comparison to the bigger place of significance. God used a little Shepard boy named David, who at the time was the least of Jesse’s sons who were trained for battle. David was trained for caring for sheep. But the Lord used David who became King David, and he was the apple of God’s eye; little red head boy (Acts 13:22). If you’re feeling insignificant, unimportant, or less than, there’s a living hope that can help (1 Peter 1:3). His name is Jesus Christ and He is the way, the truth, and everything we need for victorious living to be a reality in our lives (John 14:6). We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. More than conquerors through Him, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Know who you really are and live for Jesus.

    Immanuel, God is With Us

It was prophesied way back in Isaiah’s time the coming of Jesus, and how He comes into the world. Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary, and He entered the world legally not like a thief. The devil came into the world illegally, he was not born into the world as mankind is (Luke 10:18). Therefore the devil is a thief who came to steal, kill, and to destroy (John 10:10). He deceived mankind in the garden of Eden and gained authority in this world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God. Jesus being born into this world the way God intended came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). Immanuel means God is with us, it was the name given to Jesus exemplifying He will be with us when He comes to the earth. The sign to the world is the birth of Jesus through the virgin Mary, who will conceive and give birth to a Son. People have been looking for a way of life more conducive to peaceful living. You cannot have a peaceful life without the Prince of peace, (Isaiah 9:6) nor can you have life more abundantly without the One Who created life (Colossians 1:16-17).

The Root of This World’s Basic Problem

Through Jeremiah the Lord was declaring and decreeing that a righteous Branch is coming and He will reign as King. Jesus did in fact come to earth as King. In this case He came as King of Righteousness and did wisely and executed justice and righteousness in the land. He was never a king for this world system. This kingdom here on earth temporarily belongs to the devil. Adam and Eve gave him authority over the earth through their disobedience to God when they ate the forbidden fruit. This has been what’s wrong with this world but the devil, through advertisements, demonic influences and using our God given authority by way of deception against us has kept us in the matrix. Us having free will (without God) has put us in the matrix of a Satan ruled world. Satan has been getting us to use our words because the power is in the belief of what comes out of our mouths (Mark 11:22). Believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths is where all the power comes from (Romans 10:8-19). This righteous Branch Jesus, came to earth to destroy the works of the devil, and He did (1 John 3:8). Jesus has regained our authority on the earth, but most people don’t have a clue. The time has come, and now you must act. Get back what belongs to you and experience the victorious living God promised us all.
