The Good Life Intended for Us is Still Available

We are free in Christ but are reminded not to use our freedom as a ticket to sin. Freedom to do whatever we want could be dangerous. There will always be laws and rules to help keep us safe from things that can eventually hurt us. As we become more concerned about others, than we are about ourselves, we begin to walk in God’s great plan of reconciliation. Temptation is always around ready to take us off course away from our God given purpose. We no longer have the weight of habitual wrong doings so we can now more easily conform to God’s plans for us. Once we’re on to God’s plans for us, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, you will live above the evil in this world. The plan of God for your life is to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). As long as we are following the plan of God for our lives, we won’t use our freedom in Christ to sin. Serving one another humbly in love keeps us grounded from pride and helps the seed of humility in us to grow (Galatians 5:22-23). Enjoy your freedom in Christ, but not to the point of risking your right standing with God. Staying in close fellowship with the Lord is vitally important to our survival, and to live life above that of mere men and women.
