The Mindset That Matters Most
We have the mind of Christ and, can exercise the mind of Christ in our everyday life and affairs (1Corinthians 2:16). We are the body of Christ in the earth and have access to all that’s in the head of Christ. Through close fellowship with the Lord in prayer, we can draw on the attributes of God. In our relationships with one another we should have the mindset of Christ, especially when dealing with other members of God’s family. Have the same humble mind which was in Christ Jesus Who has set the example during His earth walk. He was our example in humility. Without humility there’s no way of entering God’s kingdom. We must become our own governor over our behavior, our motives, and actions. Allow the mind of Christ to rule over your emotions and thought life. By renewing our minds with God’s teachings and precepts it will keep us in line with humility and self-control. Becoming a doer of God’s word and not a hearer only, can change your life. To mentally assent to God’s word gets you nowhere in life. The Lord needs heart belief, not mental. Heart belief which must be lived out in real time (as a way of life). Do what the word says like your life depends on it, because it does. You will always live above average when the mind of Christ in you is allowed to have full, and free expression through you.
