The Wait Is On
Waiting patiently for the Lord must become a way of life for all christians who want and need God’s help. Through faith and patience we obtain the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). Most of us have faith but no lasting patience. There are the fruits of our newly recreated human spirits which include the seed of patience (Galatians 5:22-23). Being a seed, is indicative of growth. So our patience can grow into the long suffering which becomes a trained practice in waiting, (as long as it takes mentality). The Lord needs time to move things around to position the right people or circumstances onto our path to bless us. This is why our patience is so important, and necessary to receive from the Lord. Once we give up on waiting we cut the pipeline of blessings from the Lord. This society we live in is so fast paced we must keep up with it to function properly. But because of this fast paced world system, our mentality says, what’s taking God so long with the provisions I need now. He will sustain you if you constantly stay positioned for the manifestation of what you prayed for to come. The Lord will turn to you because He heard your cry, but give Him time. He will lift you out of the pit of your troubles. There will always be comfort in waiting when you’re spending enough time with the Lord during the process. The more we praise and worship God, the more comfort in waiting we will experience. He will set your feet on a rock and give you a firm place to stand while waiting for your victory.
