If You’re Feeling Guilty, Maybe You left the Sin Door Open
This scripture verse is an epistle written to Christians. Just because we are saved doesn’t mean we are without sin in our flesh. Our bodies have not been redeemed from the curse of the law, only our human spirits have been changed, the real you. It’s that part of us that ascends up to heaven after we die on earth. So, we must still deal with sin in our lives because our flesh has not yet been redeemed. Thank God, He is able to forgive us of our wrong doings because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus which has done away with the sin of the world, now everyone can be free. But when we as Christians mess up, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us of all sin, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Once we become Born Again Christians, it is vital that we stay aware of the possibility of yielding to temptations, but the habitual sin problem has been eradicated by the blood. It may seem too simple a process but, if we openly confess our sin, He is faithful to forgive you because of His Son’s blood that was spilled for us all. If you can genuinely and wholeheartedly admit to your screw up (sin), and mean it with true repentance, the Lord Himself gives you. The price was paid in full so we don’t have to go to hell personally, and pay that price of sin forever. Next time you miss it and mess up, ask God to forgive you, maybe tell a close friend what you did wrong so pride doesn’t have a place and then, keep it moving like it never happened.
