God’s not out to get you, we all mess up, so cast your cares on Him

“‭Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).” Many of us have been trained to carry our burdens as if it is what it is, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Our trust in God opens the door for burdens to be lifted. First of all, we must believe God can and is willing to do this for us. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in life that’s not so honorable, God will and has forgiven us of all sin. Confess it out of your life, apologize to the Lord, ask for forgiveness and keep it moving. It’s much easier to cast our burdens and concerns on the Lord without the sense of condemnation on the mind. 1John 1:9 is for christians who have committed sin. We are saved, not sinless, we will become sinless in the next life with the Lord after shedding these earth suits, our bodies. We will never be forsaken by God, He cares about us more than we can imagine. God accepts us regardless of our shortcomings and mess ups. Mankind will hold things against each other that may have occurred years ago, which was already settled. To bring up again that which was already remedied is unwarranted abuse, and designed to keep us in bondage. The Lord doesn’t play these games and He can be counted on even when we’ve screwed up big time. It’s not being held against you in God’s program of grace and favor. So cast all your cares on the Lord because He truly cares for you.
